Thank you for puting this technique online here on RUclips. This technique is used mainly in the restaurants of Australia and maybe over the world. It helps to train Hospitality students to be better servers / waitpersons with the Hospitality Industry
Omg thanks!!! So useful So helpful !!! Thank you and great instruction !!!! thanks!!! My father was a waiter, and he taught me this technique as well. Thanks for posting this video.
Thanks! Exactly what I'm looking for. This is especially useful for Chinese dinners where there's like a big plate of noodles and I need to serve it to everyone's plate on the table.
thank you soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much, it has been seven years since i wanted to learn.......... finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm very helpful with your video sir, I've been discovering RUclips for an hour, and finally found your video. Appreciate it so much, big respect for you 🙏❤️
Well, I'm sure you are overstating it. If you are in the food industry, knowing how to serve food will give you an edge and shows professionalism. Keep practicing and you'll amaze yourself. Mmm, if only I know how to twirl that fork around my fingers.
Yeah I'm kinda :O :D Im studying at hotel academy and tommorow we have banquet to do AND nobody showed me properly how to do this serving and it's really important so...yeah :D :)
Hey, I'm a bit of a klutz so I think you can do it too. Just practice. thanks man u save me. thanks man Thank you so much for posting this video. I thought I knew, now I do :)
Very impressive for looking like a good hostess, you make it look so easy and teach it so quickly. I'm sure with practice I'll get it down with poise and grace. I recently got a table I'd been wanting for a long time, Danish modern designer and little teak accents. We've been having a lot more sit down dinners lately and it highlighted just how much I don't know even if I am pretty good at the cooking part.
Omg thanks!!! So useful So helpful !!! Thank you and great instruction !!!! thanks!!! EXCELLENT! Thank you for posting this! u r using a flatware cutlery if the cutlery had in rounded way how u gonna be serve ....????

How about this.. You're holding food on the left hand side.. How can you put the knife and the fork to get it into the position without the left hand??
Hmmm, I understand the finger positions, how you are holding them, but for some reason, i cannot manipulate them to open and close. Are you mainly moving your first finger and thumb?
Hey, I'm a bit of a klutz so I think you can do it too. Just practice. thanks man u save me. Thank you, Im required to do this at work and its always a challenge.

David Baril Thanks for watching. Once you have the forks in the position shown, you can slide them forward or backward a little to get the best pivot.

If you use a fork and s spoon, it is better to put the spoon at the bottom because it is easier to serve sauce this way.

You are too modest. Practice by moving the utensils forward or backward in your hand to find the right balance.
We called it frenching.
