After a nice few days in Lanzarote, my trip back to the UK was on one of two TUI UK 767's, which are due to be phased out of the fleet at the end of 2022, so I'm told. Unfortunately at the time of booking there weren't too many window seats available so this was the best I could get. Its frustrating as most other airlines allow you to see seats before booking the flight, as with TUI you have to wait until after you book.
Overall a pretty decent flight despite the hour delay due to late arrival of aircraft. Crew were absolutely fantastic. We start off with a Runway 03 departure with some great views over Lanzarote before heading up across the Atlantic and towards the UK. Some great views over the Bristol Channel and Liverpool on our descent towards Manchester before a slightly windy 23R approach.
I hope you enjoyed the Lanzarote content, it was great to finally do a trip to and from Manchester Airport on some nice classic Boeing aircraft. Both the Jet2 and TUI flights were brilliant.

Great footage , we flew on this very plane ace to man and back , great flights just no leg room
We flew on the other remaining TUI 767 (G-OBYF) a few years ago and I was surprised at how loud the hydraulics are on these old birds! Awesome sounds though, and captured well from your position (although we could clearly hear them towards the front of the plane when we flew on it). Thanks for the video.
Fantastic wing view mate!
Great video amazing details love the jet engines start up from push back and the engines at full power for take off amazing love the colours of the sky, I am excited about my trip to punta Cana next year in premium class on the tui 787 dreamliner it’s my very first time for me flying on the tui Dreamliner so excited great video like I said really enjoyed it

❤ Long live the Boeing 767 ✈ 🌚
Boring ….
It took us nine hours to get to lanzarote a few years ago from Glasgow due to a Saharan storm diversion to Gran Canaria and stuck on the plane for four hours greetings from Scotland 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
767 Uma Exelente Aeronave Que tem um Bom Desempenho de Aceleração Por Isso Decola Imediatamente. Belo Vídeo 😊
Out in a 757, back in a 767, that's quite a nice break. One question: do you call it TUI or Tooey? I emphatically refuse to call it Tooey 😑
TUI, never really said tooey aha
@@CPlanespotting Its still Britannia to me!

Fabulous 🥰💋
Final views are really good 👍
Nice video mate ❤
Great report!
Fantastic video mate 👍
Another great video thanks for sharing 🤜🤛 also it looked like the 757 out bound was much more comfortable than the old girl coming home still not many 767 left now so it would be a novelty flying one I suppose ps what time did you land ? It looked like you went into a holding pattern for a bit I could be wrong but I’m interested to know if I’m right 🤔
Great flight video Casey.
I recommend tui I think everyone should try it put it’s just a amazing airline
I thought the 767s had IFE in them considering they’re used mainly for the long haul routes?
Great video by the way 👍
TUI 767's are only used for shorthaul these days. The 787's have taken over all of the longhaul routes. The only exception is Cape Verde flights which are now operated by the 737 Max. That route was formerly always flown with 757's, until they finally left the fleet last year. The 737-800's don't quite have the range for Cape Verde.
Which row was you on ☺️?
Anyone know what those are at 19:50 ? Are they the things they call the trim ?
The panels are used as either speedbrakes (in flight), or spoilers on touchdown. In flight, they're used to reduce the speed of the aircraft, which can be helpful when descending (especially if descending quickly to fit into an approach offered by ATC for example), as descending generally increases airspeed (as you're trading altitude for airspeed).
In this instance, they're being used to reduce the speed of the aircraft. Not anything to do with trim, which reduces the control forces required to keep the aircraft straight and level.
@@jong6665 ahhh got ya mate 👍 thanks Jon I enjoyed reading that I’ve learnt something new there I appreciate that 🤜🤛
