The BEST BOTHY in England? | Warnscale SAVED my NIGHT | Lake District Hiking

I head up from Buttermere with the plan to wild camp on Haystacks in the beautiful Lake District. The plan was to make my way up past Innominate Tarn on the way towards the summit to find somewhere to pitch the tent.
The weather was not great and was set to worsen the following morning, so I had hoped to catch a sunrise before making it down early in good time. Strong winds and persistent rain collapsed my tent led to me heading down in the evening and finding refuge in Warnscale Bothy.
It was a cosy stay in a beautiful location, a bit too cosy, which led to me overstaying and struggling to ford the various streams to get back down to the car.. all part of the adventure!

What an adventure 😂 don’t think I’ll be out camping on a mountain when it’s raining any time soon. Hahaha very brave, but great first image on the pano, quite dramatic. Lucky for that bothy and having it for yourself. Cool share, Max. 😁
