I love thrifting books! I have a couple local libraries that have small permanent "book stores" in them, but they also do big library sales every few months. I recently started volunteering for those... you can do set-up, sales, or break-down.. and you get 2 free books! I also get"early bird" access 30 minutes before they open because I signed up for the annual "Friends of the Library" membership (only $15/yr). Totally worth it imo ☺
I got into graphic novels this month, it is a fun way to read honestly. Also I have started I Fell In Love With Hope, and I am finding it relatable so far(which is kinda scary) and I am liking it. I will go so far as to saying loving the book.
I loved the story of Credence! If you can look past the taboo and go in knowing that I think you won't mind it 😅 you love it or hate it and I love it.. can't wait for you to read it lol

I was at this sale when it opened, some of the resellers were very annoying. Stacking their totes in front of the book shelves . I got about 20 books. . Loved this sale and will go back on opening day again next year!!

Little late to watching but i love nicholas sparks, im very picky with my male authors but he is amazing, he usually writes sad romances, i havent read the one you have but ive read safe haven, a walk to remember and watched a few of his film adaptations and they are so good, will be reading more, Also my birthday was on the day you guys posted this too! i live in New Zealand so it was the 16th of march, not sure if yours is the same or the 15th, but happy belated birthday!!
Besides the library book stores and book sales, I thrift a lot of other books at actual thrift stores, and swap books in Little Free Libraries. I'm also collecting a small unhaul pile to sell to the used book store for store credit... would rather trade in 20 books that I don't really want for 5-10 books that I ready do! 📚✨

As well, certain genres do have large photos in the back like that. It all depends on the publisher, the time period its being published in, the expected audience, and the genre. All in all, traditionally pub-ed authors don't have much control of anything with their book's design. Great video as always!!!
