Troy M silencer ring on newer models like the 6.7 have 3 points ok it you need to drill out it’s not as simple as this one I think this one was a 5.9 older cummins
My 2017 Ram 2500 has 3 dowells drilled into it. Why cant they make it easy. I have to take off the turbo cover and drilled the 3 dowells out, carefully to clean everything afterwards! That sucks!

Same snap ring and silencer on a 2020 powerstroke.
Nice. Mine was so easy to remove. People act like being a mechanic is impossible.

No not at all, its only purpose is to cut down in cab noise

AwesomeCopper delete all the emissions and put in a straight pipe. It will be a lot louder.
My 2018 6.7 Powerstroke is deleted with 5 inch exhaust, you can hear it spook but not like a bark, will I be able to do this?
My 91 don't have that ring. It's a stock Holset
1st gens have an H1C turbo, this is an HX35 which all have the ring.
Why tho?
Paul Kinder they are only in there to reduce turbo whistle noise in cab. Most turbos don't have a silencer ring
