If that was my bar, I'd be concerned every time someone (myself very much included) yelled "for the emperor" or "burn the heretics" or similar, which is roughly every 2.3 seconds.
Pretty sure the only non-Ork the Orks say is the Orkiest of not Orks is Old Bale Eye.
The Human Commissar Sebastian Yarrick. The dude who lost his arm and strapped on an Ork sized Powerclaw, so the claws are like the size of his torso, and has a prosthetic eye that shoots lasers purely because the Orks think it does. I'm pretty sure Angron or some random World Eater Marine killed him because those lunatics were hanging around Yarrick's turf recently and now he's dead, like officially killed.
So, it's become a new meme that the Orks are now completely united, which is horrifying, and actively hunting down the World Eaters to quote "SMASH the zoggin' git wha' got 'Ol Bale Eye afore Gaz' did." which is still terrifying but if so this means that the Imperium doesn't need to try and stem the tide of the latest WAAAAAGH.

It is currently unknown if his death is actually real or not, as it only sent a notice that he was dead, with no official details on how he so died.

Theres a theory that Yarrick is still alive because the Orks believe he is, so their collective psychic power is keeping him alive

A small correction.
The birth of Slaneesh didn't cause the Warpstorms. The Eldar's debauchery leading up to its birth did. When Slaneesh was born, it actually blew away the worst of the Warpstorms.
....So, in a nutshell:

Time doesn't work in the Warp, so Slaneesh always existed. If they were born once, it doesn't matter where or when. Not in the Realm of Chaos at least.

@@lazernor ehhh not entirely. The relm of chaos that slanesh rules always existed but slanesh as slanesh itself did not. Chaos is a cancer and like cancer it technically was a part of the healthy cells before hand.
Emotions and excess have always existed but slanesh being the representative of them is new.

If i remember right Orcs leave spores on basically anything their skin touches and they release a plume of them when they die, which if left long enough will grow into new orks, people on imperial plantes that have fended off ork attacks have to go into the wild with flamers to cull the spores before they eventually grow into a new waaagh
The lore gets really interesting when you read about Earth/Terra before the Emperor's rise to power, Earth was apparently like a madmax style apocalyptic world consisting of waring nations, some are named such as Murica (America), old Albia (Great Britain) and Franc (France), but because this time was post apocalypse and heretical not much is known about that time.
Mount Rushmore is still a thing in 40k, but no one remembers who the presidents were

Minor fact check: the average lifespan of the Necrontyr was between 20-30 years. The average wasn't 30, as that's on the high end of their life expectancy.
Fun fact: tzeench could have won the great game, but he sabotages himself to keep the game going because thats more fun to him
Not just that. Tzeentch embodies change and scheming and his victory and total dominance would mean there is nothing left to change and nobody to scheme against. He must constantly sabotage his own plans or he will cease to exist.

When the orks get talked about they are even more whacky than led on. My favorite story is the ork that went back in time to fight himself so he can have a second copy of his favorite gun.
My favorite would be the ones who initiated warp travel, realized all deez chaos daemon gitz were fun to krump, and promptly pointed themselves (metaphorical) dick first at the eye of Chaos and called a WAAAAAGH in the Immaterium.
Khorne apparently grew somewhat fond of them.
A small correction. The War in Heaven was not hundred of thousands of years, it was almost 6 million years of constant destruction. Mfs blew entire solar system like it was nothing. And the Necrons went to sleep not only to wait for new species to die, but also to regenerate and to wait the galaxy to heal (because it was left almost a complete barren land).
Everyvtime I see Alicia's reaction when Saanesh is mentioned, it just makes me happy. And no corpse worshipper can change that, her soul belongs to Dark Prince already

Something I really recommend as part of a lore deep dive for 40K, if you don't mind making a whole project out of it, Helsreach the Movie. You can get that as either a full film or a 14-part series.

I love to see Alicia fall deeper into Warhammer madness.
I love Tzeentch of Chaos the most by far. He’s the knowledge bearer and the key figure when it comes to Psykers and FIRE! Yet he represents change and hope, fate and the future. He’s so intensely interesting and cool, yet he genuinely shows care for all things (for the most part), but not enough to account as love or affection. He is the the only Chaos god that does a real good thing to people: gives actual rewards and powers to those that work for it or deserve it. If you worked for years in the name of Tzeentch, for both knowledge and/or power so you can change your life, he will GENUINELY recognize that and reward the effort. That’s something I can respect in the world of 40K

Nahhh this is how chaos gets you in their hand, Tzeentch is actually the only Chaos God (With a few exceptions by Slaanesh) who clearly ends up punishing in many ocassions his most devoted and powerful champions just to screw himseld over while also giving great gifts to individuals who he knows are plotting against him or trying to escape from his control.
Eldar going overboard in Commorragh reminds me of the Cenobites. Sensation must be brought to the extreme, the only thing to do after passing a limit, is to find another limit to surpass.

Its funny how for humanity their version of the witch trials is actually a good thing during the age of strife also fun fact the craft world's are refueled by absorbing a star if im not mistaken
Part of the Eldar fall was their immortality, before Slaanesh eldar came back when they died, to live a new life but their psyker abilities meant they were born with all the knowledge and power of the previous one. So death was impermanent so life meant little. Also there's some evidence that Slaanesh's creation was not entirely an accident. Eldar at the center of the murder-torture cult intentionally tried to create a new Eldar God and like most people who don't know what they were doing got a Chaos God instead.
In the Eldar part Bricky forgot to say that the reason why murder was mixed with arts. In those days when an Eldar died they just reincarnated whenever they liked so even death wasn't the end to them and had no weight.
Been absolutely loving your reactions to 40k stuff, I think you'd enjoy some of Bricky's more tabletop oriented videos. He's done a couple talking about how he went to the world's biggest 40k tournaments (the Las Vegas Open) and I think you'd enjoy hearing him talking about playing the game itself.

If you want more specific answers to warhammer lore I really recommend watching Majorkill videos, just so you know he can be a bit vulgar in his words, but he is at almost 600k and he has not been cancelled so you should not be worried. I personally recommend "The Emperor Of Mankind's 5 BIGGEST Mistake" or "Which Chaos God Is Best To Pledge Allegiance To?"

Small correction Age of Strife began with the Cybernetic Revolt / AI rebellion and it messed up humanity really bad. The warpstorms were the Eldar fuck fest affecting the warp and power was slowly gathering to form Slaanesh and making warp travel year by year a little bit more difficult, the storms cleared when Slaanesh was born. Of course the warp storms influenced worlds that were close or in them and there of course were daemons. This is when the human psykers appeared and caused more problems for humanity and demonic incursions became even bigger problem. Then there were all kinds of malevolent aliens roaming about. 5000 years of this shit and more, it is a wonder humanity still exists.

Oh but he made a mistake by putting a clip of Star Wars when talking about (cringe) FTL travel. Star Wars basically does the same thing as Warhammer. People live in realspace but a hyperdrive allows a ship to enter hyperspace and then emerge back into realspace once the ship has reached its destination. The hyperdrive also prevents the ship from falling apart, kind of like a Gellar field, because yes, there are also monstrocities in hyperspace just like in the warp (although not as many).
I recommend you watch PancreasNotWork channel videos on 40k and maybe even Halo and Elder Scrolls videos. He explains many of the factions and characters lore and tabletop game mechanics while also explaining its downsides in a very comedic and substantial way.
His takes on Elder Scrolls lore are a bit iffy, but the Warhammer stuff is good

Small correction: the Gods of Warp born after the War in Heaven. They're were human made(exept Slaanesh). But before they born, there's shit in the Warp called Enslavers, and some considers them one of reasons that Old Ones go extinct.

There’s a debate that the war in heaven was what created tzeentch and khorne.
You’ve got papa nurgle, the grandfather of all who might have been created because of the old ones. I go with the old ones had the first true galaxy spanning empire but got hit by a plague that decimated their population and led to them being the masters of biology that they are and have their deep reverence for life.
War in heaven kicks off and the galaxy spanning bloodshed with the old ones tinkering with and creating dozens of new species to wage for them and just the entire necron race “changed” into metal created the brothers khorne and tzeentch who despise each other. Papa nurgle then goes stop messing up my lawn! To all the new kids on the block and creates the enslaver plague which is what forces the necrons into sleep cause they just noped themselves to bed rather than deal with warp shenanigans bleeding over into real space.
Then you got the massive hole of the Eldar and krork both knowing of the existence of the necrons. Had entire lore and sagas about their galaxy spanning conflict. And did absolutely nothing about them for 60 some odd million years…..

Couple other details to know: Humanity's primate ancestors were also made by the Old Ones, the War in Heaven ended when a Warp race known as the Enslavers showed up and either killed or chased off most of the Old Ones and their races, and the Emperor was born by a bunch of ancient human shamans seeing the threat of Chaos and ritualistically sacrificing themselves to make the Emperor to fight them.
Oh, and the Orks were once the Krorks and were, at minimum, 12 metres tall*. Yes, Metres. But (supposedly) a lack of good fighting de-evolved them.
*For context, a Warboss that was at least 10 metres tall was powerful enough to lead a Waaagh! that almost destroyed the entire Imperium. They even managed to invade Terra.

You have to understand something. The eldar made their own gods before the birth of Slanesh. One, their god of war got shattered by Slanesh. The rest got eaten and only one god aurvived, tricking Slanesh. Kegorath, the trickster god of knowledge and arts. His eldar followers are known as the Harlequins. They have one play the act out, and one role to play by a solitaire Harlequin. When Harlequjns die, their soul is protected by Kegorath and thus it does not go to Slanesh. However, solitaire actors are the exception. Kegorath has to trick their soul away from the clutches of Slanesh a reenactment of his own escape from his doomed fate.
Another thing you need to know about the eldar is that they could die, walk the warp and then come back alive. So the deranged murder that happened in their depravityakes more sense when you think about how they had what amounts to a game respwan mechanic.
That fact that Khorne's followers aren't called Children Of The Khorne kills me.

I'm just trying to help establish for her that there's this TTS thing, and that there's at least a little interest amongst her fans in having her watch it at some point.

It wasnt so much the Birth of Slaanesh that brought about the end of the Age of Technology it was more the "Labor Pains" of Slaanesh's approaching birth that created all the Warp Storms.
