I think Dan Duchains body opus diet is good , I believe it was a 2 day carb up per week , although without checking I might be wrong lol Oh and vitamin c can also be a good laxative , if you take too much , I found that out the hard way

Yolks do not increase total cholesterol in healthy people. Cholesterol in food does not increase you total cholesterol. It is saturated ffats and carbohydrates combined... Best, Nash
The thing is that all bodybuilders do all the styles in their lifespan, in the beginning it was pyramid, very similar to dorian yates , wholebody workouts, then upper and lower, then one body part a day, then 20 reps, then lower reps, either, 5,6 7,8, and when your really strong, doing 12 is not light, so you have to start somewhere untill you get stronger, and the mentzer is an advanced style you can choose to go heavy or you can choose to slow the speed and go for intensity, I like to switch every few months, and the diet should include lots of fiber, once you get to a point cycle some egg whites with whole eggs to cut the fat down, to see more definition and do a little cardio, after the workout, and cycle that too, to days off or twice a week for what ever is comfortable
Vince gironda dint know science he was training volume and volume doesn't build muscle only hard intensity... listen to mike mentzer interviews he speaks logics

Mentzer has very often been proven wrong. The muscle growth triad is intensity, frequency, volume. Increasing any one of the three will trigger muscle growth, but increasing one comes at the expense of decreasing the others. You don't understand science if you think any method following this principle is the wrong way.
