Looks like a "Bundle" of FUN!
Nice! I actually suggested a similar title for this video and got an eyeroll from Jennifer. :)
That's really cool! 🙂 Would probably come in handy too for wrapping things in bundles for storage. Like boxes, small pieces of plywood, etc.. Thanks for sharing, Chad!
Very true! I'm thinking about wrapping some Christmas presents with it this year just to make opening them a little extra challenging. :)
Good Evening Sir, this is a very nice Wrapper Stations 👍😇👌Very Nice Olive Puppy Dog 💖😇👍Yes Tetris Game It is 👍😇👌Cheers 🍻🍻
It's going to be fun wrapping some wood bundles this winter so that we can hopefully sell some next spring and summer.
You have to buy their plastic wrap for $45.00 because it's a certain size. I made my own machine and used a 10 inch roll that I can buy for $15.
Thanks for watching! I get the wrap from the company Packaging Supplies By Mail - they're in Ohio. I get 4 rolls of 12-inch, 1500-foot 65 gauge cast stretch wrap for around $48.00. 12" x 1500' x 65 Ga Cast Hand Stretch Wrap - 4 rolls/case. www.packagingsuppliesbymail.com/50265-1.html
love a good side hustle, hope you and the family have a blessed weekend. we like like 5 mins from a county park (Kalamazoo county coldbrook park) the small village we live in has a little corner store and they have some bundles for sale. i never really payed attention to the quality but seems to do pretty good selling it. good luck with everything Chad hope Olive is doing ok
Thank you! You too!
I have thought about doing the same thing. We have a KOA campground about 3 miles from the house and a few mini markets as well. I agree the stuff they sell at a lot of the places is junk and not much wood for what they charge you. How much are you planning to charge/bundle, and are you going to make a road side stand? I figure, you will need to sell about 100 bundles ($10/Bundle) to get your ROI on the wrapper before you start to make a profit. People may also like a cheaper wood like pine for outdoor fires as well. You have a lot of stuff on your plate this year.
I'm still thinking about the pricing and ROI. The bundles at the gas station are $8.00 each. They're soft wood, smaller bundles, and all smaller pieces. BUT - they do have the convenience of being at the gas station. I was thinking about starting at $10 a bundle and noting on the sign "Giant firewood bundles - Seasoned Hardwood". I need to still figure out how many sticks to put in a bundle. I've been doing 9 typically. I'll be doing a video about the my thought process -but I'm planning on selling them at a roadside stand in the spring to see how it goes, and then maybe approach a few local stores about selling some through the summer. I just hate to split my money with the stores. Thanks for watching!
Nice looking dog, he could help you out?
Olive is a great helper with some projects. With assembly of the firewood wrapper - not so much. :)
I like this unit how much was the shipping?
I was in the proccess of purchasing - until I saw shipping cost of $330. That puts it well over $1000.
Shipping was $330. It comes wrapped on a pallet. Weight is about 120#. I was actually tempted to drive up and pick up several units, and have some here to just re-sell.
@@TheFirewoodHut It's definitely an investment. I did look at several other wrappers. The manual ones were around $1500, with shipping between 300 and 600. The automatic ones, while nice, were over $2500 and much heavier - with shipping at over 600 and not as mobile and compact as this Amish Wrapper. I wanted to be able to sell as few bundles as possible to pay for the bundler before I start making profit. I also looked into using bags, but I think the wrapper looks better and is a little easier to use efficiently.
@@PurpleCollarLife yeah, the shipping seems a little extreme I guess it’s the bulk size that cost so much
@@fatefarmspa I believe it's the fact that it's a skid - and delivery to a residential address. I think it might be cheaper to a commercial address.
What is the price now I see your video is a month old and see someone said have to use there rapping but you said you used what Joe used take it Joe from ohio wood burner
I do not use the plastic wrap that they sell on the Amish Wood Wrapper site. I just ordered some from Packagingsuppliesbymail.com. I got SKU# 50265-1 12" x 1500' x 65 Ga Cast
