1. I went to get my eyebrows done (one of the few “high maintenance “ things I do lols) and the lady scheduling my next appointment kept saying “December” instead of February even tho she had the calendar right in front of her lols 2. I’m so glad you enjoyed the burried and the bound! I also loved it! I felt like it was an older YA book, which is hillarious cuz the og cover looks soooo childish! So happy owlcrate redesigned it cuz I would not have read it otherwise haha. And it’s also one of the few books I actually ordered the sequel for! I didn’t realise it’s a trilogy and book 3 was 2026!!! 😱 3. Funnily I read the depths right after the burried and the bound! I did like it a lot, but I don’t really read horror so I’m not jaded lol 4. I put revelle, midnight strikes and a few others in the owlcrate mediocre era. Nvm I have yet to read them 😬 5. Awww I liked at the end of the river Styx, but protecting your space is most important! If it’s any recompense the ending was meh. Idr what exactly happened but something made me bring down the star rating. 6. Go you! I totally understand everything you said about running. Especially when my mental health is really bad I just want to go run. But also health isssues (ankles for me) stops me but that’s awesome you did it! 🎉
I can't tell you how much I shrieked when your very first book was The Buried and the Bound! I'm so happy you liked it. I haven't read the sequel yet, but I definitely plan on getting to it this year. The Depths was one of my very first Owlcrate books, so I read it since I hadn't gotten comfortable with dnfing yet. I may not have, but it was just very meh. Nothing horrible, but just okay. I got rid of my copy not too long ago when I got a hair up my butt to weed out books because I would never reread it and, while pretty, not that much to keep it just to look at. Midnight Strikes is the only other book I attempted from these ones and I also dnf'd it a little past 100 pages. I'm also not really into time loop books, but this one was just not done well, imo, and from what I read it doesn't get much better. Funny enough, The Last Hour Between Worlds is everything I wanted Midnight Strikes to be and more. I'll save my thoughts on it for the Book Club video, but (spoilers) I really really liked it and so thankful it was a Book Club pick because I wouldn't have picked it up otherwise.
I'm so excited you liked The Last Hour Between Worlds. I may not have had the same experience....😅 That should be coming out Sunday I think as long as I can edit it fast enough. The Buried and the Bound was such an awesome surprise and I'm literally looking at my Owlcrate copy of The Summer Queen. I'm so excited to start it.
@@kimberlyreads It's been a bit since I read it, so some of the details have faded but I still remember enjoying it! I liked that the location changed rather than just a repeat of what happened in the first one!
ah damn i loved Midnight Strikes. i don't read a lot of time loop/time travel books tho so i have no frame of reference on whether it's well done in comparison. but idk i really enjoyed the progression made in the mystery and action through the loops. but to each their own! glad you were able to get rid of a lot of books that weren't your jam. means you have more shelf space for books you'll actually enjoy!
Yeah I really wanted to be into it, but time loops just don't work for me sadly. I feel like it has to do more with my attention span than the book haha. I'm glad you loved it though!
Great vlog. Love the Winter snowy vibes. Got over 4 inches of snow last weekend.❄️☃️📚☕

I'm a new subscriber and I love your vibe! I also suffer from migraines, so my heart goes out to you!

I was so worried when you grabbed The Buried and the Bound. I really enjoyed it. I gave it 4 stars and the sequel 5 stars!
I'm so excited to start the sequel! I definitely think I'm going to love it now that we've established the basics of the world.

This answered my question from your last video regarding the wrapped books 😂
hehehehe. I saw your comment and was like 😈 I'll wait for her to see the video.
@KimberlyReads Yes to hubby picking your Fairyloot reads!!!!❤ Absolutely!
omg perfect timing! I was looking for something to watch and your video just popped up. I'm ready love this series!
Ironically....each of these books in this video ...I skipped in my OC subscription. So I don't have any of these. Love this series you are doing!❤
3 star reads and dnf are the same thing to me. Feeling meh is the worst! The copies look beautiful but is it really worth the cost?
Love this series SO much🎉🎉🎉
The audiobook will share the name pronunciation, even the sample clip will share it.
