@@mihaeljaksic9374 The greatest battle now has the perfect commentator partnership in Murray Walker & James Hunt. With James getting into the car for fun every now & then. 🏎️🏁
Thing is about Murray is he had a voice like a formula 1 car. It kind of went up an octive the more excited he got. Suited the sport so much and a fine broadcaster. Will never be replaced.
Jimmy Pownall he’s even picked it up over the past couple of years. I’ve only been watching since 2016 but I’m a diehard fan now and his chemistry, and like working together to not cut each other off, with crofty has grown so much and his commentating has gotten better because of it
Even after this broadcast he still had another 20 years left in him and was an F1 fan until the very end. RIP legend. Thank you for all that you’ve done.

He was 77 here. A man who had true and raw passion for motor racing. He could have retired a lot earlier but his love for the sport kept him going. The voice of my childhood. Man who leaves me a lot of memories and somebody I miss greatly
Imagine commentating on Grands Prix for fifty-two years and making it sound in every one like you were just discovering the sport for the first time that weekend. There will be other fondly remembered commentators, but there will never be another Murray Walker. R.I.P
September 30th 2001 was the end of a magical era 20 years on March 13th 2021 and the great man is no longer with us RIP Sir Murray Walker thankyou for being the voice of f1 and motorsport in general and thankyou for keeping us entertained through our many wonderful years of brilliant motor racing
Trousers on fire, full blooded lover of the spot, and boy, did it show in his commentaries. Murray, you gave such joy to so many people. Youve earned your rest, but you will be remembered forever. I just hope that the sport, now it’s in commercial hands, does something like put you in the F1 hall of fame.
Thank you very much youtube for recommending this to me. This is the one time where youtube actually recommended the right fucking video RIP Murry, you will be missed by all of the F1 community :(
Murray Walker was an F1 Champion in his own right. He was in your living rooms every Sunday afternoon for years making people laugh when getting over excited and coming out with lots of Murrayism's. He was the greatest commentator that ever lived and will never be one like him.
Murray Walker will forever be THE voice of F1 for me. You can't overstate what an effect having Murray Walker commentating on F1 had on viewers like me, not really a 'die hard' fan, but would tune in each week to hear the 'GO GO GO'. F1 is at heart an elitist boys club, full of big talent big bank balances and even bigger egos which can quite often be obnoxious if it's not balanced out a little. Murray would cut through all that with his charm and amazing enthusiasm. He had such a way with words. It's no coincidence that I drifted away from watching when he signed off all those years ago. Loved his 'trousers on fire' style of commentary! RIP
I remember watching that 2001 Indianapolis race and that emotional goodbye as well.. I remember at the start he did his classic "And it's go! go! go!" I think almost deliberately, as his final time to say it at the start of a race.
Thanks Murray for everything you have done for the motorsport world, you have been the adrenaline for Formula 1 ever since you arrived into the sport, when time passes people may forget some things to do with the sport but I don't think anybody will forget what was the lifeblood of motorsport commentary and a inspiration for many other commentators to follow
And that's the moment the greatest ever commentator of any sport called it quits. So glad to have met you Murray, so glad you picked up the mic and made the occasional appearance RIP
This is the first race I remember watching. I think I probably watched some before but this is the one i remember. And what a one to remember. Murrays last race and mikas last win. ❤️ RIP Murray. I may only remember one race you ever commented on but I have watched many old clips and you were a legend of the sport. You bought the race into so many people’s living rooms. We thank you for that. Rest in peace.

I'm so thankful for Murray Walker and all he done for the sport. His voice was the engine that kept F1 going for so many years. God speed and thank you, Murray. :(
As a Texan, when I think of F1 I *hear* Murray Walker. Before the 12s, before the 10s, before the 8s, I hear Murray Walker. I'll always be more of a Nascar fan, but Murray Walker was a large part of the reason why I loved F1.
Well I still do enjoy Grand Prix Racing but it just isn't the same. Your passion was so infectious I doubt I could have become the fanatic I am without listening to you during my formative years and all the way up to 2001. By then I was well and trully hooked.
