Plinking basically. I'm hitting the button I'm using to charge right after the first hit, but before the second. Since the chain system goes in strengths order (A>B>C>S). If you input C~A, the A will not come out but you will begin charging round trip on A. In the case of longer combo's starting with A or B, you can just hold A or B and you should be charged in time.
@sage2050 Only really small characters though, and the point really isn't so much the swords combing anyways. In fact, if they are crouching to do that they become extremely vulnerable to Heavy Trick, which is already confusing as hell to block since the swords can easily push the opponent into a position where H Trick>jC will cross them up.
@superfreak53 Sure, it's easy really, just throw it after a ground bounce. That means your two easy options are S~H>Round Trip, or (non flying screen) jS>Round Trip. You can also combo into it after a wall bounce but that is trickier as its timing and spacing specific.
@Rezz316 I've actually been working with Ghost Rider recently, I guess I know some fire Carpet stuff with Dorm, but I don't really play the character so that could be a while.
@b7r0n I had an issue with that myself and found it to be the hardest part of the combo. Try releasing the Round Trip almost immediately after Spiral Swords. It should keep them in the air and connect with the c.H. Hope it helps.
I'd like to see either more strider stuff, or some felicia stuff. I know she's not new, but for the first time I think she's actually viable. Nice choice in music btw.
Means "Off the ground" So any move that hits otg will pick up a character that has been hit in a hard knockdown state. I.e Wesker's gun shot, Dante's wildstop, Doom's stand H.

Wouldn't it be best to leave using a Round Trip until after most all of the swords are gone? As the round trip would add large amount of blockstun, make the left/rights less effecting.
Please can you put on the inputs for the normal combo that you do before using the spiral swords, the one with the H-S-H-Roundtrip mini-loop? And please tell me which button do you hold for the roundtrip?
Is the combo you're using in the video (minus the reset) damage optimal for Vergil alone? And would you happen to know what would be damage optimal for vergil + wesker assist. I've become too reliant upon that assist but wanna make sure I'm at least getting my miles out of it.

interesting, overall once you managed to build the second meter vergil becomes very interesting for mixups I really have to try this
