@@SarahJewell2809 yes it is true you cannot renounce Argentinian citizenship. Brazil however has a military requirement for men. Its all something that needs to be weighed up. Depends what your priorities and circumstances are. There are other options of course.
@@SarahJewell2809it depends on your circumstances and priorities. For me I would choose Argentina even knowing the pitfalls of the no renounce law and recent wealth taxes. Argentina because of the lifestyle, culture and language for me trumps Brazil. Other people (including Andrew) would probably choose Brazil. It really is a personal choice. Both passports are mercosur meaning citizens have access to pretty much the entire SA continent.
Yes, not many people hate Panamanians but Panamanians will hate you. Been there, done that, never got hated on but I saw it happen on a daily basis. They don’t like foreigners.
Its actually two years. Not one year. You have to be from Andorra, Portugal, or most of the countries of Latin America. (Not belize, guyana, suriname or the anglophone caribbean).
@@anonymousanonymous67352 years for nationals from those countries yes, but non nationals born in Spanish territory, just 1 year, rest of countries 5 years of residence
@Deutschland Vaterland No such thing exists. People in Hong Kong have Permanent Residency which does everything citizenship has except a Hong Kong passport which you need to be a Chinese citizen to get.
I think just 1 parent needs at least an official residency ?? I would like to get more info about birth tourism specific for Chile. Maybe it wouldn’t exactly be “birth tourism” , just how to do it. Chile is the only SA country with visa waiver to the US I believe
Argentina and Brazil are probably the best options for birth tourism.
In one of his other videos, he mentions that you cannot renounce Argentine citizenship, so I had written that one off, but this comment interests me
