I wore my grandmothers gold and gemstone bracelet (part of a matching jewelry set) every single day until it fell off🥲 it absolutely broke my heart. Earrings and rings are the easiest to lose it’s traumatizing ugh but really teaches us how to take care of things better

I love floral gemstone jewelry, semiprecious and the precious gemstone! My love for gemstones started when my Mom gave me a blue simulated sapphire pendant and earrings when I was 14 and I used to wear it everyday! As a December baby, I should love blue but my mom loves blue and I love purple!

Beautiful pieces dear.. very seldom to see young people wants to wear precious gemstones,don’t know why. Just watched one YTer collection, but she kept saying that she will look years older😢😢. I said this is much valuable then trending high end designers plain jewellery. Gemstones naturally are earth mined.. it will come to an end one day, mines are closed.. so keeping gemstones are more precious
I believe gemstones can be very youthful! All depends on the style of jewelry. Very sad indeed, but everyone has their own personal style. Glad we can share a similar love of gemstones :)

Haha we changed the batteries and it didn’t work! It’s also hard wired into the ceiling so we’ve been trying to figure out how to make it stop without cutting the cord 😂 I’ll try to stop the sound asap. Thanks for sticking through 😆💖

@@kayviana hmm my favorite is probably a sterling silver large Victorian locket on a really unique chain! Or one of my simpler pieces is a tiny 14k gold pendant with three opals on a gold chain- I broke this necklace and lost an opal by accidentally vacuuming it, and repairing it cost as much as the necklace (because the necklace was a good deal) but it was worth it to me because it's one of my most worn pieces!

You should have a jeweler check out your grandmother's ring they may very well be Marquez Diamonds, back-in-the-day jewelry wasn't as expensive as it is today, and most mothers and grandmothers wore real jewels. And the pieces are far more vulnerable than one's being made today. I have a lot of passed-down pieces myself, you may be surprised.

My momma would have whooped my ass if i ever lost something with that type of sentimental value..😢 this is why is not a good idea to give kids/teenagers expensive sentimental value stuff because they will not take care of it just yet.
I never liked to accessorize because I used to get rashes as a kid when someone got me some cheap jewelry but now I'm wanting to be more feminine and wear necklaces/bracelets. I bought some cheap cute ones at like retail stores this year which gave me a rash. Now I bought some from Tiffanys, Christian Dior, and Louis Vuitton... I think my skin simply likes fine jewelry 💀

In the silver rings it's Abalone shell, not Opal. And I'm not an expert but your Rubies look like Rubies and not Garnets.
Someone else also said the ring is ruby! My mama said it was ruby as well, I just didn’t want to be too sure since it’s an old ring in the family and I haven’t had it tested yet ☺️ thanks for the input
