I play P Bass mostly but lately fretless too. You, and of course Ray Brown opened a wonderful new world of music for me!

Super informative! Really dig how you explain and categorize these ideas in such musically mature way. Thanks!

I really like the way you dig deep into all the little details with rigorous methodology . What about some Pettiford stuff?

I'd really love to know what kind of strings that black set is that are used for a more gut like vibe. They sound great! Been searching for an alternative to gut.

Unfortunately these particular ones aren’t made anymore. They are the Corax model from Gerold Gennsler in Germany. However, he does make many other kinds that I think are fairly similar

I love your channel but as someone who has lived in Poland for 20 years I have to tell you that you pronounce your last name wrong.

Hahaha I know! That’s great though, thank you. Isn’t it “Americanized” anyway? Am I right that it’s something like “Rrree-bitz-kee” or something? And it means fisherman? Is that right?

Uh,,,it's his last name. HE gets to choose how to pronounce it, not you.
