I am listening to this song since last 30+ years and good part is , I am singing this for my son. can we imagine the power ? 30 years over , I am not bored.. I am sure no other person as well. It is just the beauty of the creativity. lakhs of mind are entertained and are conveyed a mesg of something ( in old songs ) unlike the today's film (or) songs which is mis-leading the society. Let people decide what is good and bad.

This songs take me back the memory lane into seventies every time I listen. Good old days when the life was not this hectic and people were much happier despite not materially successful in life. People used visit each other, so place and celebrate festivals. Those sweet n innocent days have gone forever. Sad
Even I miss those days. No mobiles. In fact many people didn't have landlines either. We just went visiting people whenever we felt like it. No appointments. Everyone was welcoming with a smile, happy to see you. Now if you go visiting even with an appointment people are like, "when will they leave...... I want to go back to my cellphone or facebook or whatever TV program they were watching"
I just love this song. Why can't people in our country get over the mangeshkar complex. P. Susheela, B. K. Sumitra, S. Janaki - what beautiful voices, unassuming personalities an such versatility in their music. God bless them all. These are the people who actually teach us a lesson - just keep following your heart and keep doing your work; there's no need to bother about whether you are praised to the high heavens or not. :)
