I bought the larger one 2500 watt and find the same real world issues. I have a kureg which pulls 1500 watts and I can not get a full 8 oz cup of coffee with it as it resets. and more I used it the more it fails. guess you get what you pay for I went with a bigger one for extra head room. I have it in my semi with 4 large batteries and better cables then came with it. Sadly passed the return date. works good with toaster and microwave. Microwave runs much better than with a modified sine inverter I had in here.

I guess there is a reason Victron inverters cost twice as much. Installed a Multiplus 12/1600/70 last winter in my camper and very happy with it.

I have 2 of these, they have done ok, except for using a 1500W heat gun.
    It tripped out immediately.

There are reports of the inverter not reaching its advertised 2000W capacity

Just bought the 3000 watt 12volt model. Opened the box, checked the manual (while charging my new batteries), and it lists 1500 watts continous, 3000w peak. Amazon site shows a 2500w heater as a safe load. No manual to be found online. Total waist of my time.

Well, there are plenty of options out there. Do you prefer good quality - Victron (amzn.to/4c8Ltev). Do you prefer as much as good quality I heard good things about Renogy (amzn.to/3TuEgOU) Giandel (amzn.to/4c0VXN4) or AIMS (amzn.to/3TuTfID). PowerQueen, Redodo and Li Time have the same inverter I believe. I did not use those but saw some videos about them. I think price value would be Renody or Giandel. If you like really good quality AIMS or Victron ;-)

How many batteries do you have hooked up to it ?
You should have 2 of the ones you have

Yes, too much load to use on this battery. In order to drive this much of an output, you need a larger battery bank and larger battery cables. The cables supplied with the inverter are too small for the maximum load output.

I just got one of these...so far it is impressive. Not sure why you wrote fail on your thumbnail, can you please explain?

it operates like a 1500w inverter. I guess you would have to look at the price range.

Of course it failed. It's a high frequency, transformerless inverter that offers a low surge capacity and a short life expectancy when compare to a real inverter that uses low frequency, transformer based inverter technology. Never buy a high frequency, transformerless inverter from any manufacturer. Always buy a low frequency, transformer based inverter if you want a safe, reliable inverter that's going to last.

You're totally right. I own this LYMW 2kw in 12 aug2023, and only used a couple time for the 1200w hair blower, The power was set at 115v. the blower cut in-out then display f05.
I tuned off and turned back on and set the voltage at 120v, The blower can only runs on low heat, Unfortunately, I hurt the burnt smell along with 2 popping noise then the fault light stays on. nothing works after all .contacted amazon after got this unit for 31 days(13dec2023). OUT OF LUCK.
The inverter driver board blew 2 of 22mfd-35v aluminum cap , 4 mosfet,'s case cracked
