I’m Asexual and I’m also bisexual and this is so amazing. It explains me and other Asexuals so well and I hate how people say “Asexuals can’t love!” A girl at school said that to me and I just walked away and all of my friends were confused as why. And people always have something snarky to say like “oh you’re a plant?” No we aren’t plants we’re people who can love if we choose and who have our own preferences

Thank you so much for this! So many people dont understand that some people dont have sexual feelings and / or sexual things make them uncomfortable. Many people tell me they " dont believe in that" or ill "feel differently when i get older". I started to feel like no one understood and no one would expect me because of how I feel. Like no one would love me :( but after I found this I was so happy to see someone got it and felt like me :DD

Unfortunately the majority of humans tend to denounce something they can't even judge, cause they don't know what's it about.
Here it might be also a problem, that in school we only get educated about the heterosexual way of lifing.
So if someone ever tries to convince you that Asexuality doesn't exist, show compassion for him, because that one is the poor person who might just be misinformed, not you. And presumabely the person was just curious and didn't even intend to challenge you.
But to encourage you, there are also a lot of people out there who accept you just as you are and are willing educate themself.

as someone who is dating an ace person this makes so much sense, and im glad there is representation of romantic relationships with ace people, as it gets lumped with being aro so often (which is fair because they are similar concepts) that it overshadows the ace people who are still romantic. this truly helped me to understand my ace partner so much. thanks so much! sorry if this is rambly lol its the neurodivergence showing.

I've got to add something.
What makes the song that special for me is that it tells what I'm preceiving in my monunentous life situation, as being an asexual person, whose sexuality is often not understood by others.
Most consider it as something that on the time will vanish by itself. (like it's kinda a choice you make, as a rather young person, not knowing what you want - they see being heterosexual as something you're gonna "learn" when you grow older -> to mention I'm nearly 19 so I should be able to make my own decisions and know who I am best by myself)
