Great job man! Your patience motivates me to tackle with confidence any problems my s2k throws at me! Sometimes I get frustrated to the point I start regretting it doing it myself.

I believe i also have this gasket also. Im having a leak also, but it drips profusely with no pressure in the coolant system near the passenger side of the car. To be more specific, i see drips near the edge of the head gasket on cylinder 4.

Thats tricky. I'm not aware of any coolant lines on the passenger side. Has the car been over heated?

@@Duwop77 i never seen the temp bar go to the 4 bar. i have a ap1. however I think I have the same issue as you because the engine tilts to the left creating a channel for it to leak to the passenger side of the engine. it literally looks like I have a head gasket issue, but I need to confirm if it is my plastic intake manifold gasket.

Dam nice job man .thanks for the details on s2000 I.m. bolts and dirt debris issues .I will vacuum the top before I attempt remove thanks to you I won't get trash in my engine. I will also replace my knock sensor ,radiator hoses ,and i.m. gasket .I bought the thermal gasket . Any feedback on the thermal gasket ? I plan to torque the i.m. gasket to the honda shop Manual (I have downloaded on my Google drive btw if you want it its free online or I can email it )but ! If you think I should stay away from the thermal gasket ?? Please 🙏 🙏 🙏 tell me because this video proves this is a nasty knuckle buster job to do . Metal i.m gasket vs. thermal i.m gasket feedback please let me know asap im on jackstands now.

Thanks. Sorry for the late reply. Was sleeping 😴 but my thermal gasket was in a couple of years before it started to leak. Although from doing research I did come across a lot of people having leaking issues with the hondata thermal gasket. If you use a thermal gasket recheck the torque on the bolts periodically they do tend to loosen up. I've even noticed that with a thermal gasket I'm using on my throttle body spacer. Wish you the best. Thanks for watching 😁 👍
