- A trans themed short film, created by an all trans cast production team. On remote northern Iceland two strangers connect and realise they have a lot more in common than previously assumed.
A film by Fox and Owl Fisher. Filmed in Iceland in 2016, made in under 48 hours.
Language: Icelandic (subtitles in English) and English.

This has some flaws, obviously, but I really like it. It’s very rare to see transgender people depicted in rural areas. I am a transgender person who has grown up in rural Sweden, so this makes me happy to see.
I also live in Sweden but I live in a small town so it's not that bad
I’m also from Sweden and is non binary, and gay. My whole school is homophobic amd it sucks

I like this transgender short film more than others because even though they are acting they are actually trans which helps people relate to them more. Some trans short films the transgender person isnt actually transgender in real life
How do you know whether they're trans or not though?

Yeah I know. The person who posted the comment said some actors aren't actually trans when playing trans characters in short films, so my intention with my comment was asking how they knew that those actors were cisgender.

I too was born with a major intersex condition and am also transgender myself. I found someone to love over forty years ago despite having a body that a far from the accepted gender norms we make our love work.
This is our body and we are the ones how determine what our norms are. Please keep doing these short films.

It actually took me half the short film to get that she is mtf and that they could be the cutest trans couple. Not sure if they were meant to have a romantic relationship or a friendship, but both would be valid

I prefer to see friendship because it provokes us to imagine its natural progression to a great romantic relationship that will work and last. That progression will be a fun ride that can be just as fun to imagine in a variety of different ways. But a romance is really a final destination. There's not much left to imagine.

This is so cool, my mother is from Iceland and my family lives there. I've been growing up in germany but I always like to see videos in icelandic language, thats the way I can try to get better in talking with my family and friends there. Also great video!

the acting is terrible but the idea behind it is amazing and i love the way that unlike most "trans" films, you didn't have the film 100% centered around the fact that these people are trans. If it wasn't for the title, the twist that both of them are trans in the end would be shocking

What I really admire about this is there is no huge diagloue exposition but it conveys the message clearly. Also Iceland is sooo beautiful.
There are 0.5% of transgender people in the world. The fact that they found each other (even though this is was scripted) is amazing to me especially since it's in a rural area

i live in a rural area (the united states' bible belt) and ive met tons of fellow trans people (theres currently like 6 other trans students at my school that i know of)

Idk why, but lately I've been thinking maybe I'd be happier with a trans woman by my side instead of a cis woman (not for sexual reasons) but because I think they're more fun to be with, hanging out, watching movies, talking, holding one-another, I think the love and communication would be better than other relationships.

i think it was nicely done, scenery alone was beautiful ....new to ur channel ...owl u are mtf trans but is fox ftm trans as well .....sorry when he took off shirt i thought he was hiding the tatoos ....but was there a reveal there i missed .....i had a tinge of sadness as well as feelings of triumph for both of you .....well done
