I loved Portland! I also went on a work assignment a few years ago and brought my little sister along with me. We had so much fun, now I'm returning with my boyfriend in a few months so I'm looking for new things to do and I came across your video! Love the editing style and thank you for the recommendations.

Moving there soon and I can’t wait to explore and get to find all these neat spots in Portland.

Portland is on my bucket list for my next US trip. Did you feel safe while you where there? I've heard a lot about how the city has become less safe. On the other hand, when I went to San Fransisco people also talked about how dangerous SF is, but I didn't feel more unsafe than most other big cities.

It definitely depended on where I was! Especially as I was exploring by myself, I tried avoiding certain parts. Downtown/Chinatown are the worst areas where drug use is very prominent. I was always cautious walking around, but I felt pretty safe in the Pearl District and any other area that was outside of Downtown :) If you do decide to stay downtown though, I would recommend being with someone xx

Portland’s crime level downtown is at or below 2019 levels again!

Algo sent me, and I'm probably not your usual demographic, but your editing is so good! Cool for me to see Portland from thousands of miles away. Subbed. Do you have any tips on filming public? I'm trying to shoot videos too and I get self-conscious, lol.

Thank you!! Honestly it took some time to get comfortable filming in public (I still get self conscious), but it's worth it knowing you'll have enough footage to actually edit a video. I also film with an Osmo Pocket 3 which is soooo portable, great quality, and small enough so people don't really realize it's a camera. The more you do it, the easier it gets! Hope that helps :)

@@megannlandersonn That does help, and the Osmo Pocket 3 looks super stealth. Thanks!
