We have travelled in Asia for 40 years and Hoi An our favourite destination.Your RUclips clip does real justice.Have eaten, drunk, had massages at all the places you show. There is so much more to see in this great city. Our favourite place to stay,Lantana Boutique Hotel.A 5 minute walk from Vi's Market.Hoi An a must place to visit and give yourself at least 10 days. You will not regret it.
I wish I had seen this a couple years ago. I always enjoy your videos. The singer is just beautiful! She makes me wish I was younger!! lol Cheers from the USA!!
LJ, really liking your Vlogs mate. Have watched them all. Really good to watch with no annoying overpowering RUclips "muzak". Good stories, nice looking food reviews, interesting locations and of course the lovely Tida make you easy to watch. You think you'll move to Vietnam?
Just stumbled on to your Channel. You are an excellent host Keep up the terrific work Brother... I am enjoying watching these vids as well as learning alot. Cheers from Vancouver...fun to watch during this quarantine.
You have introduced Hoi An in a very intriguing light. Great variety of entertainment, shopping and socializing. People here seen genuine and easy on the eyes. Thank you for sharing another informative vlog LJ. It would be much better with your lovely Tida on your shoulder.
I dont know if you read the new comments on these older videos, but you have to be the 1st person I've heard talk about the smell of Thailand. That's 1 thing I like to know about a place before I travel. Of course I want to know about the sights, attractions, people and culture, but the smells are important as well. Also this was the best vlog I've seen about Vietnam and I think it's because you interact with people rather than just walk around and video. Peace and hang loose. 🤙
You should try the "Old Town Bar and Bistro", my favorite place when you want a Burger or Pizza (at some point you get a bit tired of noodles). I have been to Hoi An for 2 years in a row, and thats my favorite place.
Wow...excellent. I was in "Hoi An" less then a month back and really enjoyed the place and the atmosphere. Thanks for showing those places to me now from Pakistan (my home country)which are still fresh in my mind...you have a great way of expressing things around you.
Only just found your channel, you vids really give an insight into places/countries & culture that I would never consider to visit, thank you from England
Looks like a really nice place this Hoi An town. Seemed to have very nice atmosphere in the evening, a little bit of more refined live song and music performances, like the one you stoped at in the end of the video. Will definitely consider this for a visit.
Hey man just found your channel. Loving your videos. Keep up the good work. I’ve been to Vietnam three or four times but always go to Ho Chi Minh City. I really need to explore more of the country.
RBinAZ You heard wrong. Hoi An is heads and shoulders above Danang. I’m old though, so if you’re young and like to party, then Danang is probably better.
Gave you a thumbs up mate, I’ll be there in just over a week for I think the fifth time, great place and so many restaurants, the Shamrock used to be called the Dublin Gate it had a sister bar in Saigon but don’t know if it’s still open. You should also take a day trip to Ba Na Hill and Golden Hand Bridge you’ll love it I’m going to go there again this time as we loved it so much last visit, cheers
Second half of video way better than the first, away from the noise, and interesting because you aren't shy to talk to Vietnamese people. The Hoi An-Disneyland shopping area is too many tourists at night, something you do one time only. Curious what the other 95% of Hoi An looks like.
Loved the music and thanks for showing how cool it looked at night time... Don't know if I have the same blind of will power to say no to all those beautiful masseuse... Did I read it right a massage is only about 9 dollars US? Thanks for the video... Much love
Since the time of the HMS Bounty Mutiny (1789), us men of English descent have found the Asian female to be irresistible. LJ, like the way you stay well groomed and keep it classy, the Viets are highly aware of that. I like a fine suit (English cut). In So-Cal, so many young pretty Viet female Pharmacists. Best, JP
I am here in Hoi an now too, all the virus stuff has really hit tourism hard in Vietnam, good for us tourists as less crowds but very bad for the people and the country.
The top two countries to visit Vietnam are South Korea and China accounting for almost 10 mil tourists per year. Vietnamese authority officially stops giving Visa and 14 days visa free to those two countries.
Yes its true the young people of Vietnam can speak English better than the average Thai .. and overall are a very good looking people ! Hoi An a great little city close to the beach...thank you for a current view of what the city looks like currently thank god not to much has changed,,
That girl Tien had an amazing voice, wow, and a pleasant personality to boot. Thank you for sharing the band with us.
her name is Yen not Tien
@@truopngvu8957 16:31 "What's your name"? ............. "Tien, T..I..E..N" .......... she even spells it for us dude!!
Richard Arthur my bad :)
I think you misspelled, "knock-out gorgeous!!"
"I'm feeling a bit wacky tonight. I think it's all this vietnamese coffee I'm drinking." Lol
three years ago just before covid i watched your videos. You videos during covid really helped me and made me fall in love with south east asia.
Good to see you doing good again Esquire!!😉😉
