Must remember this place when I go home. Left Hammond in 78 and moved to Los Angeles.

I grew up in that Neighborhood. You go north from that place a few steps, you'll come up to Flick's bar. It was founded by the kid portrayed in the movie "A Christmas Story" named Flick.

Today we had a event a luncheon for 300 people some of the people says the food was good but it wasn't enough to serve all the people we ran out of food . We ran out of fried chicken mashed potatoes, mostacholli, macaroni and cheese, and corn. Our servers didn't even get to taste the food which I was a server so I can't tell you how the food taste 20 people didn't eat. We called the cater's back and their excuse for running out of food we served to much to each person. Well i will say we have had cater's for 20 years here and never ran out. They didn't even stick around long enough to see if we were satisfied. SMH and last but not least they were suppose to be here at 10:00a.m. and they made it at 11:30 so then we had to help set up.
