The moment I saw the face, followed by the “Tell…everyone.” I had goosebumps.
🐝 "I am the writing on the wall, the whisper in the classroom. Without these things, I am nothing. So now, I must shed innocent blood. Come with me." 🐝
This movie is definitely BEEloved. 😎
Fun Fact: Director Bernard Rose had Virginia Madsen and Tony Todd take ballroom dancing classes together so they would have more of a romantic connection when playing their characters.
The Letter Bee Fact: The bees were bred specifically for this movie. They needed to make sure that the bees were only twelve hours old, so that they looked like mature bees, but their stinger wouldn't be powerful enough to do any real damage.
Bold And Brave Fact: In addition to allowing the filmmakers to cover his face with bees, Tony Todd actually agreed to film a scene in which he had a mouthful of bees--and that, too, was all real. He told TMZ that he wore a dental dam to prevent any bees from sliding into his throat--which doesn't mean that he didn't suffer a sting or two or 23, to be exact, over the course of three Candyman movies. Tony Todd negotiated a bonus of $1,000 for every bee sting he suffered during filming.
How did I miss this upload? 🤔
I love the animations used during the storytelling sections and the credits.
I think it was great to see this story told by a black female director and from a black protagonist perspective. I was also glad they went the body horror route rather than retreading the original plot too much but I think it could have done with a stronger story.
My same sentiments ❤
I liked the puppet storytelling in this- very creative. Your reactions were great, especially oatmeal hand!😂😂
Thank you!! 😁
SHOWDOWN 🍿 🍿 🍿
Thanks for reacting to it.
The original with Tony Todd is definitely the best version
This movie was kind of cold, to be honest. But you calling dude "oatmeal hand" took me clean out. You're a wild dude. 😂
YO! his hand was super GROOOSSSSSS!
Word
I think this is a good revival. A proper sequel to the first movie too. Now, let the series rest for another 15+ years. No need to make some unneeded follow ups to this one.
right!
Thanks for constantly entertaining me!! I love your channel so much!!

This one was not as good as the 1992 original with Virginia Madsen but it has its moments. I did like the art 🎨 gallery 🎭 scene though
