I apologize for responding in English, but I figured it would be appropriate given the subject matter. I’m learning this song on piano right now and never realized each hand represents the music of two different cultures, but now that you point it out it’s so obvious. What a beautiful hidden meaning within the music, executed sublimely. Sakamoto was a one of a kind genius, his legacy will live on forever. I feel privileged that my lifetime briefly overlapped with his, and that his music will always remain with me.
This piece evokes a wide range of emotions. It has meant something different to me over the years when I listen, through love, loss and achievements in life. Rest easy Mr Sakamoto.
Can someone interpret the feelings of this music? In my opinion, I think this music is like a pair of lovers who are rushing against time, probably because the other person has to leave very soon. Like After Sunrise movie series. And when sun comes, the other person is gone… 😢
Please help me. Please share your interpretation of 3:23-3:41. I fell asleep listening to this song the. Shot up in my couch startled. The transition is a shock to my body. Please help me understand his storyline progression of this haunting section. Thank u in advance for your thoughts and time.
0:312:493:21 Eerie chills that hit right to the bone. Japanese artistry has really gone a long way since modernization. Where there was a seeming lack of expressiveness, their unreal synchronicity now complements it in full bloom. You can just see how the audience, particularly that man in the front row,is just being mesmerized in Sakamoto's minimalist aesthetic in sound. 0:38

Dedecata Al Mio Amico Makoto Sensei.
Love the first half of the part Piano is the main story, violin is the accompany, just playing one note each time to accompany the piano.
We miss you, Sensei!
For me this is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever composed and played
I can’t help myself, but losing him and Tom petty hurt a lot. I think they could have collaborated.
So beautiful.❤❤❤
Beautiful it takes me to a place where there's adventure and mystery I love it thank you ❤

Merry Christmas.
