I've allways said that a cover either should be as correct as possible... or... you make it all your own and forget about the likeness. This one is CORRECT all the way, and as an old Status Ouo fan I like it. Well done.
Superb performance.Takes me back to Hammy Odeon in the late seventies. That’s how Status used perform. The energy, power rhythm, the band and audience dripping with sweat. Memories. Then, they became a chart band, hungry for chart success and regular appearances on T O P. However, with some line up changes along the way, I still saw them live and they did not let you down. The tribute band performing here are absolutely fantastic. Credit to them all. Reviving long lost tunes that Francis no longer wants to play and Big Fat Mama play these tunes with joy and dedication. Keep up the good work lads.
When i was 40 years younger, i loved the Status Quo live double live Album and now These young men are comin around with this stuff so close to the Original wow
Hell - those boys are REALLY good!!! And they just LOVE to play, one can see their passion for rockn roll...the blond one has all to become a rockstar...
Ola, I’m not much of a musician myself, but my ears know the sound of the original SQ very well. I have loved their musicianship for almost 50 years They tell me you are the true successor to John Coghlan. There is a fluidity he has and you have it too. I mean no disrespect, but I just don’t hear it in any of the others.
This is very much the best ever Quo coverband i see of all others.
And the drummer is 100% like John Goghlan. Brilliant !

You are the real deal lads. And so nice to hear Rossi lead break as it was originally, with no ridiculous string bending every 5 seconds!
The original Status Quo is dead but another one is born
