I am having trouble with generating the List of wires by line style. When I generate this file, it shows origin and destination values as formula, instead of mark of component. How can I solve this?
In the project configuration, you can change the formula for what information you want to display with the OD arrows. i.e. row + column, or sheet + column, or to from component + terminal, etc.
Malheureusement non. Vous devriez pouvoir activer les sous-titres, mais je ne sais pas si cela se traduit en français. (Pardonnez ma traduction, j'ai utilisé Google Translate.)
Don't add spec sheets to your project you will look like a noob. Spec sheets should be added/linked in the parts database then forvermore anyone using that part in any project can find a link to the spec sheet. MFG Part Properties > General > Data Sheet Save the sheets in a common network folder created specifically for spec sheets. If you need to add a work instruction or some other config document that is specific to the project then that would be fine.
Yes. You are correct in that you should be putting spec sheets directly into each part. However, this is a training video and it's simply showing the fact that you can embed documents such as spec sheets into the project. And from personal experience and as someone who travels for work quite a bit, embedding a reference document or spec sheet into the document tree doesn't make you a noob - it allows you to share the information 24/7 with your team and keep important documents right at your fingertips - so that you don't have to go search all over the internet or internal servers to find the appropriate information.
SOLIDWORKS ELECTRICAL is very hard to find for PRACTICE as a student. Can you please give me a suggestion of how I could get it please?
As a student, you can ask your school/college/university to help you get what is called an education or "EDU" license.

Hi, great video. just wondering if there is anyway for us to change the coordinate generated from the origin - destination arrows?

metric option if you dont use imperial values
Switching between metric and imperial is primarily a project setting, but could also be manipulated at the sheet and/or symbol level.

Y’a t’il une version française de la vidéo ?
