Honestly, those Losi's you've been trying out have done ok I think. Anything hitting a tree with one wheel at speed risks that kind of damage.
You ran it fairly hard in a range of situations and it handled them well and was pretty fast and stable most of the time.

I have wanted one of those Losi SRR for a while. Also those RJX bits are great, very durable!
The parts you will break most on the SRR. Steering knuckle, hubs, upper arms, and shock towers. When anything else breaks, that was merely by chance. I rarely break anything other than what I've listed. RPM makes a number of parts for it. I'd recommend aluminum hubs and aluminum shock tower. Those break not to often, but are the most annoying breakages, especially the shock tower.
My SRR is my favourite RC of all. Vitavon hubs and 21t with MadMax GiantGrip tyres and it’s a beast. And the roll cage absorbs impacts so much better than any shell - no shell popping off like my X-maxx. And you don’t need a motor upgrade because it’s a beats of a can already. Love it! Nice to see it standing up to the Talbot Treatment TM pretty well :D Nice one Kev

Hey kev, for your slash 4x4 you should try a center diff! It is part number 6780! I have it in my slash 4x4 vxl and I just replaced it with 100k diff oil because the oil that came with it was too heavy!
One thing I did'nt expect to see, A smoke machine. Looked awesome though.
May not be as tough as an xmax but it handled the roughhousing well. That is a big heavy truck.
The smoke machine makes the shots more epic

I had one of these and the hubs are a real weak point, upgraded to metal ones and they never broke again 😎

I think I might get one of these Super Rock Rey’s. Had a Axial Yeti XL but it had a few weak spots. Love the body style of these bouncers and the big scale. This thing took some pretty good abuse and kept going. Worth a look for sure to me anyways.
Did you end up ever getting a Super Rock Rey? There was a recent sale going on so i bought a 3rd. *shrugs* Couldnt pass it up for shy of $700
@@SebastianLong that is a great deal nice! Yes I did get one I do love it. The super rock Rey just looks cool too. I think they are on sale again I was thinking of buying a 2nd at Tower Hobbies and using that easy pay. Then I can run two with someone or just have a fully built spare machine.
@@longboardguy You cant go wrong with a second one. You can spec out your first one to be a super super rock rey and your second as just something you take out for a blast. TBH, i would like a new one of every RC i got, but about 25% are discontinued and/or redesigned.
