The Q1s build is nearing the final form. The motor has now been upgraded from the stock 250W Fiido geared motor to a direct drive high speed 1200W motor. The controller is still the one from the previous mod, rated for a peak power of ~2000W when running of a 48V battery. Brakes were also upgraded for fully hydraulic quad piston Magura ones. Also a front splash shield was added so it protects the center bag better from dirt. Some other upgrades are on the way such as new tires, new mudguard and possible another rear shock. Soon the test ride with the new motor will be uploaded on my channel.
Probably the pinnacle of Fiido engineering, the Q1S, a model that is mostly a mystery for the EU market. With modest stock specs and rather high price, this "pocket rocket" will not draw your attention, but it houses huge potential. Built with a tubular double frame design and full suspension this model can sustain huge modding upgrades such as 60+V battery, large storage space, dual motor, programmable 50amp controllers, full hydraulic brakes and the list goes on! Last but not least a full review of the "stock" version will be coming in a short time.

Are you still riding the Fiido Q1S, if so, what kind of usage / rides you do?
Yes it still get miles done. Mostly daily city usage for commuting. Next upgrade planed is a bigger better battery and possibly a dual motor configuration.

Indeed it's a beast. It also has a lot of extra potential, just by switching the battery to 60V will make it insane.
From the link you are sharing for the motor, what exactly version did you choose? "48v 500w disc brake"??

Would the controller work with a 500-750w hub motor for 20inch ebike wheels?
Yes it will work, just have a look at my other videos regarding this Q1s, I've successfully run the stock 250W/36V motor for 800km with this controller and on 48V, until my upgraded motor arrived.
Can I put a 36v 800w motor using the stock controller and battery?
Yes you can but it will work similar like it is now with the stock controller.
how much for this bike complete?
I haven't kept a score with all upgrades, as there are more incoming such as dual motor, new battery, etc.
