Crisis is Alexisonfire's third studio album, and the follow-up to Watch Out!. The album was released on August 22, 2006. The album debuted at #1 on the Canadian Album Charts, selling over 20,000 copies in its first week. Crisis was certified Platinum in Canada in May 2007. It was also the first Alexisonfire album to feature a title track and first album featuring drummer Jordan Hastings.

Hailing from St. Catharines, Alexisonfire rose up out of the Southern Ontario underground in late 2001, to become one of the most successful indie bands in Canada. The band’s success also reached far beyond Canada’s borders. AOF released four hugely successful studio albums, Alexisonfire (2002), Watch Out (2004), Crisis (2006), and Old Crows / Young Cardinals (2009). Crisis debuted at #1 on the Top 200 Soundscan chart (Canada), and Old Crows / Young Cardinals debuted at #2, and charted at #9 on the US Billboard Independent Album chart. Watch Out helped earn the band New Group of the Year at the 2004 JUNO Awards. Their first 3 albums achieved Platinum certification in Canada while Old Crows / Young Cardinals reached Gold certification. The band also topped charts and graced several notable music magazine covers internationally (Kerrang, Blunt, Big Cheese, Canadian Musician, Exclaim! ). AOF’s sold-out 10th Year Anniversary Farewell tour in December 2012 touched down on four continents in 24 days, illustrating how meaningful the band still is to their legion of fans around the world.

I used to hate this song when it played on tv because I was young and didn’t understand it, I didn’t think my life was depressing until I aged. Over a decade later and it makes more sense and I love the music

I met the lead singer of Silverstein before when they played a small club called the lime spider 20 + years ago. After the show we talked and drank at the bar and they talked very highly of this band and that was how i got introduced to AoF. Btw Silverstein was awesome live in a small club.
any Canadian rock band that formed between 2005-2018 was inspired by these guys in some way

I love this song...But, the lyrics after the clean vocals sound so childish in my mind everytime I listen to this.

In the "Behind the Music" episode about Lil' Wayne, he made the choice to use this song when he talked about the time he got shot as a child. Just a fun fact about a cool guy that used great music to express his pain 🙏❤

Alexisonfire and Dallas have always had some substantial and well written lyrics. Like even back on the album watch out and shit. Fuckin love this band to the moon and back. In my top 20 for sure. Named a daughter after the song adelleada, but she isn't on this plane of existence anymore, but I'm glad I named her that because that song meant Soo much to me growing up and I decided to name a person after it. Much like how anime helped save my life so my arms are full of anime tattoos. This band is beyond amazing and I'm Soo glad I found them when I did. I wish I could see them live
