We had a bird stuck in our chimney. We opened our door and I played this video and it flew out the chimney and out the door. So thanks!!

Thank you for sharing this. I'm raising 3 baby starlings. I've been playing this for them so they can sing like other birds. They are peeping away while listening to this bird.

Our "special needs" starling we raised from a baby loves this video so much! I wish he could be out there singing, too..

looks like this is a mating call because of the ruff of feathers. . . oh and the wing flapping. it certainly is a complex call. what an incredibly beautiful bird. 🦅

My starling I found as a chick with pin feathers lived with me for 10 years and I learned a lot from him. I turned him loose August 22 2015. I have a friend that has had his for 30 years... I fed Lingo dry cat food pellets 38% chicken crude protein by products... he had an unlimited English vocabulary and his favorite thing to say was "Thank you Jesus!"

I have always loved these birds. They were brought to Central Park New York over a hundred years ago and now are here west coast for as long as my 67 years have known them. Sure they have replaced some other birds but how many birds have we killed.

It's a shame these beautiful intelligent birds are considered a nuisance and are being hunted. I think if we at least captured them and turned them into pets it could help solve some problems.

Cousin of the Myna Bird, very vocally diverse. Their numbers are thankfully leveling off in North America, even declining in many areas.

I had a starling trapped in my roof crawlspace, I left the hatch open and placed my phone beside it playing this video after 3-4 minutes it appeared, hesitated beside the phone before seeing me and flying out the window.

I wish the starlings that nest next to our house every summer to breed would do ANYTHING but scream all day long. I hate them. It's all they do, nothing charming about it.
