Is there anything worse than seeing the most amazing, cute, beautiful and perfect crochet item on Pinterest and it HAS NO PATTERN?! You cannot believe how long this top has haunted my board 😭 God bless youtubes algorithm and you
awww thank you so much! ❤ I felt the same and was brave enough to just finagle it myself 😅 I hope my video helps!
I feel you girl!! Thank you!!! 😭🫶🏻
omg i have been going around several crochet groups on facebook to try to find a pattern for this top!! so happy to have stumbled upon this, thank u so much!
Feel free to share this in your groups! I’d be more than happy ❤️
thank you so much for taking the time sharing this pattern 🙏… i’m all over the web looking for someone that can explain this pattern.
finally an english tutorial of this top!! thank you for this!! 💗
thanks I tried really hard to make it good! ❤❤
Omg I know right!!! Been looking for this
You guys thanks ❤️! How did u find this? How could i make it more findable for everyone looking?
@@Fionasdf I searched something like button down crochet crop top and found your video 😊
Thank you so much for this tutorial!! For me it’s so wonderful that you sat down and had to figure the pattern out and everything and then you share it with us.😁😁 crochet community it’s the best
Finally, I was having trouble finding a tutorial for crocheted shirts like this.
Amazing! you're so talented!
That’s beautiful! So talented ❤
It’s very cute and it looks very nice on you.
This is so lovely! Thank you for this 🥰
I was so disappointed seeing no tutorial linked to those cute Pinterest pics 😅
YAY! thank you ❤
I'm doing this pattern rn!!! its so easyy thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
I loved it! Specially in that color 😍 I'm pregnant and my belly should start to show up on December, which is summer in my country, and I think this will look amazing 😍 thanks
aww you will look so cute ❤
Omg! That's look good
Really a pretty top, thanks for sharing
thanks!
I really want to try this 😫 but this tutorial isn’t really beginners friendly but if I do figure it out I’ll let you know thank you for this anyways
you do need some crochet basics. but I'm sure after some practice you'll figure it out! ❤️
I am an advanced crocheter and it is way too fast for me too. If you can perhaps show the first 2 rows at normal speed it would help a lot. I really like this pattern stitch.
No worries. I changed the playback speed and it helped.
So beautiful 🤍
FABULOUS ❤
👁️💕🧶…U?
May I ask what type/brand of yarn did you use? Can't wait to start this project 😍 thank you for the tutorial
It was actually a baby yarn that came in small skeins of 25g =57,5 meters. It was 100% cotton and I used a 3.5 hook! hope it goes well! ❤️
it was called ricorumi!
Can i use a mesmerized yarn 5 ply?? 🥺
EDIT:
Hi fiona! I already done my workkkk and it turns out so pretyyyyy!
I'm sorry I don't know what mesmerized yarn is, but 5 ply seems to work with a 3.5mm hook! just make sure to have a little swatch piece to be measure how many stitches you need for your size! Good luck! 💕
@@Fionasdf Thank you for responding!! Highly appreciated ❤
Can someone please explain me the stair pattern and how to make it at the start of strap making?
Oh boy! I’m so confused
can i just check that the body stitch count needs to be a multiple of 5?
Yes!
I want to make it for bust size 42 can you please guide me
Thank You so much
Love your tutorial! I'm planning to make this for my sister. May I ask what hook size did you use?
Thank you so much! It obviously depends on the yar you’re using! But i used a 3.5! Hope it goes well!
How many grams of yarn you've used for this project? . finally an english tutorial of this top!! thank you for this!! .
I don’t exactly remember but it was at least 12 small skeins of 25g yarn. Hope it helps!
So at least 300g!
I'm now almost done with this top! But, I am struggling with the sleeves part 🥲. I've watched it like 10x now but I still not get it😭😭 huhu
I'm so sorry, have you tried looking up how to make a sleeve in like a normal stitch maybe? I basically just decreased until I got a triangle shape that looked about the right size. I also had a paper pattern too- just to gauge the size and shape I needed to make the sleeve. hope it helps
Yes, I'm really grateful that you made this tutorial!! I was able to make a very cute top and I can't wait for the final result- I also managed to find a way for the sleeves part. Thank uu
omg so happy it worked out! make sure to send me a pic or tag me on instagram (at)fionasdf_ ❤❤@@miraaltheabernadit5251
the sleeves confuse me
Whenever i decrease a row i decrease on each side, so the stitch pattern stays even.
@@Fionasdf still very confused
Lovely pattern - could I just ask what is the repeat pattern for the border frills? Cant seem to find a part in the video that explains it. Thank you!
It starts at 9:11 hope you can figure it out!
Its sl st, 2 hdc in 1 st, sl st. Repeat.
Hi ! First of all such a pretty top 😍
But I have trouble understanding the sleeves for ex at 7:02 « R11-13 » do we decrease once on each side at row 11 ?
Thank you! And yes I decreased symmetrically on every row. My decrease method is questionable tho, do the decrease that you think works best!
Beautiful! How many yards/meters of yarn did this use?
It was actually a baby yarn that came in small skeins of 25g =57,5 meters. It was 100% cotton and I used a 3.5 hook! I used at least 10 of those small skeins. Hope it helps 🩷
I was looking for this tutorial ! Thank you❤ is it possible to make it longer if I add rows ?
of course! you could even make a dress 😍
Thank you ! I have another question please I am just beginner please bear with me 🙈 how did you count the -10st and -25st ?
on which part do you mean? (tell me the time stamp please) @@amels716
7:03 how do I mesure the sleeve please.. how did you mesure the 35cm and 48cm.. I am bit bigger than you so I can’t take these measurements.. thank you ❤
for the 35 I measured loosely around my upper arm, and the curved shape is measured where the sleeve connects to the bodice. maybe taking a shirt (not stretchy) that you like the fit of the sleeve of, and roughly measuring that, will give you a good idea if the measurements.@@amels716 hope it helps!
Please part 2
Can i use spun cotton? I want to create this pattern as mother and daughter couple attire 😅
I used a cotton yarn too! it will be so cute! 😍
Wieviele Garnknäuel hast du dafür gebraucht? :)
What crochet hook size did you use? 😊
3mm - 3.5mm 😁
@@Fionasdf Thank you! By the way, this top is so pretty! Thank you for making this tutorial. 🥰
Do I make a slip stitch on both the sides at 4:40? Or just on one side?
I didnt do that, but if you want a smooth look you can end each row with a slip stitch. (not neccessary if you crochet around/sew it at this seam) Hope it helps!
hi! im a size small - how would i make this smaller?
Make sure to create a little swatch like i did at 0:42 ans measure how many stitches are in a cm/inc and calculate how many st. You need for the with of the small blouse. Make sure its a multiple of 5 for the stitchpattern to line up. Hope it helps ❤
how did u do the border of the neckline??
same as I did on the sleeves 9:05! hope it helps. I did that one on the bottom edge too.
How many grams of yarn you've used for this project? 🥰
oh dang i don't remember I'm so sorry! I would estimate at least 12 of small 25g skeins.
Hola, para medida estándar de una persona talla m cuántos centímetros tendría que medir la cadena que hiciste al inicio?
Hi make sure to make a stitch sample as shown at 0:44 and from there you will be able to calculate how many stitches you will need. Just measure your body, or a shirt that you like the fit of. It all depends on what size yarn and hook you use. hope it helps!
What kind of yarn did you use?
100% cotton
the chain should be a multiple of what number?
5! the pattern uses 5 dc.
hii did you use 50g of yarn only? tysm
no no, I used at least 300g, the number in the beginning was the weight and length of one yarn ball. hope it helps!
@@Fionasdf thank you!! i was so confused haha anyway the pattern is really great tysm for your hard work ^^
How many stitches did you do ?
I made a small sample of the stitchpattern that i was going to use. And then calculated how many stitches i needed per cm/inch and then calculated how many stitches i needed total. But i always made sure it was a multiple of 5 cause thats what made the stitchpattern.
Hope it helps 😅
Hola me gusta la blusa pero lo haces muy rápido,no lo puedes traducir al español gracias❤
Is it for medium size? 😁😁
I'd say I'm a S to M but it does depend on how thick your yarn is and how tight or loose you crochet. hope it helps ☺️
Hola no lo puedes explicar en español gracias
Buen día me gusta mucho está blusa,me podrías indicar múltiplo de cuánto es
En otro comentario dijo que es múltiplo de 5
@@VikkyAquino Gracias
Good but I verily can hear
Oh no. Thanks for the feedback! I’ll try to fix that nexttime!
