    i'm using parts of this with another pattern to make my mom a birthday present! she's turning 70, so i wanna give her something i've made with love. thanks for the help!! she loves flamenco, so the top is for her to put over her sports bra and/or tank top during practice

    hii i tried this pattern and i jusy wanna say for those using a different weight/ yarn to her: increase the 62 stitches by 5 if you want the neckline to fit you differently and increase each "side" by 1 more sc. e.g. increase 62 to 67, 8 to 9, 12 to 13, etc

    I'm really happy with how mine turned out!! I made it a bit bigger than yours and made 3 dc for the ruffles instead of 2. I'm really surprised by the amount of yarn used tho, I used almost 12 skeins 😳

      Ditto. I used so much too! It did come out cute but a little warm, but I used k+c essentials yarn weight 3. Which I love that yarn, but with this pattern it was a bit heavy.

    if we do not want the ruffles to be too big, could we alternate between 1 and 2 double crochets for the first row then one in each for the following? instead of the 2 in one stitch

    • @carla.bycarla
      @carla.bycarla  2 года назад +2

    How do you measure the main block part to your armpit? Just set in over your shoulders?

    • @carla.bycarla
      @carla.bycarla  2 года назад +2

      You just need to try it on , when you see that the 2 corners can touch each other without your arm being tight that’s when it’s good , if you want a large sleeve just wait until there is a larger part for your arm when the 2 corners can touch themselves

    I would like the same top, but not as a crop top. Can I just continue the bodice to waist length and add the ruffle? do I have to make any adjustments to the bodice width?

    • @carla.bycarla
      @carla.bycarla  6 месяцев назад

      You can stop the bodice where you want and add ruffles until desired length yeeess
      No adjustments to the bodice width since you are making the adjustments in the beginning until your garnement fits under your shoulders

    • @naaz_4339
      @naaz_4339 5 месяцев назад +1

      Just single crochet the whole upper part till it reaches where you want your arm to join basically below your armpits
      Then join the corners of your arms with a yarn now single crochet again how you were doing before except do not make a chain 2 (no increase)
      To make V neck just join both the parts with single crochet and now again to make upper body complete make single crochet in rounds without fliping your work backwards till you are satisfied (no corners or increases to be made)
      For ruffle part you have to do double crochet

  • @orangepineapple18

    • @carla.bycarla
      @carla.bycarla  2 года назад +1

      You don’t really work in rounds , just continue to work row by row and turn your work when you’re at the end of the row to continue ☺️
