All due respect I would recommend not using vent to atmosphere valve unless your MAF sensor has been tuned out! sounds awesome though. Turbosmart makes an awesome recirculating valve that sounds great :) cheers!!!
i just got this exact blow off valve but it appears i am missing the wiring harness, you wouldnt have happened to get a parts list that came with this would you?
Im new in this turbo scene so I have to ask. Im buying soon 2010 tfsi 2.0 audi wich is already optimized. Is there any chance causing damage with this valve?
In the long term it won't be good for the turbo bearings. In the short therm it should be fine. I m using it for a year without issues but my turbo was new a year ago
What supporting mods do I need for a ko4 I have a 2007 b7 and I’ve done all maintenance including the cam tensioner. But my car has 240 000km and I’m worried it’ll damage the engine
I just wanna see where did you connect it to the boost gauge? I mean how and where. Just wanna see a clear picture please. Sounds awesome and good job 👍
So the blow off needs to be connected to the intake manifold. I happen to have a line running from the intake manifold to the boost gauge so i used a T pipe to join the blow off to that. What would you lioe to see exactly? How to install a boost gauge?
A4 b7 will leak oil from vacuum pump at the rear of the engine. Very sneaky and hard to notice. If there’s oil on the trans case on passenger side (close to the cat) the vacuum pump seals need to be replaced. Second symptom of vacuum pump malfunction: if the gas pedal does not depress by 3/4 of inch when you start it and your foot is on the pedal. This is because brake booster is connected to the vacuum pump. So if you’re having a hard time braking that is a symptom. If you have no leaks but you often need to top off oil between oil changes, check your PCV valve. You can do this by lifting your oil cap while engine is running. There should be some vacuum but not to the point where it is difficult to lift off the valve cover. Second way to check is disconnect the PCV pipe that connect to the intake manifold and blow into it. If you’re able to blow air through the PCV needs replacement.
How much of a difference does the K04 turbo do? And does this damage the turbo in any way? I’m not sure it does cos it’s a proper kit for it rather than doing it without a kit ?
Is it recommentable to put it in a stock 220hp ? Does it need some sort of software update and also from where i can order it cuz in my country that stuff cost about 400€ 😃
Don't waste 400£ on it. Just get any cheaper eBay one. It does the same thing. It's not really recommended for this car but I never had any issue with it
I have the same car but stock, and when I’m on the gas it almost sounds like I’m letting off the throttle then getting back on after 4500 rpm, and I’m not sure what is causing that
If your symptom is when full throttle it's usually an overboosting condition or a fuel cut. Ideally you take the car to somebody familiar with tfsi engines and he can log it and see straight away
I know the theory thanks. I actually run a blow off which makes the compressor to surge and I actually abuse it every time I drive it. Let me tell you it's been 3 years and the turbo still works as new and there's no in and out play....and up and down I can feel 1 mm like when it was new 3 years ago so this theory while is perfectly correct did not damage my turbo
Oh and I forgot to mention after first year I have increased the boost from 1.5 to 1.9 bar and I drove it with flutter and 1.9bar of boost for 2 years without issue. Now I do not recomand this to anyone but in the the same time my car has been perfectly fine so far
I think you leave the bv on! Sounds awesome! Gives the car more character!
I did leave it on, with the exhaust valve open and the blow off it's alot of fun😂

Thanks for advice. i have been using one for 5 year with k03 stock, stage 1 2 2+ and now with k04 without issues

You need an intake on that car and it will sound amazing.
It has and ir sounds identical haha in this video the intake was already modified

Do we have to install a boost gauge or we can just connect it directly to the intake manifold?
@@Ab0dh you can connect straight to manifold
Does your a4 b7 leak oil quite often? Ik it’s a common thing in these Audi’s but I was just curious if this is the case for you as well
My car doesn't leak any oil. When I bought it I did all the common problems and it's been rock solid since

Mine doesn't leak as I fixed all the possible causes but any car that uses rubber gaskets will leak eventually
Do you have a Tutorial for Install a turbo pressure gauge Form the a4 B7 2.0 t
I don't but that is a good idea for a video
@@bike23august ohyeah i would Love it
did you replace the BOV? because mine is under the engine...
I have a k04 turbo, the diverter valve is not on the turbo so i had to realocate it
Would this work with a ko3 turbo under the engine ? It’s pretty tight underneath
Yes it will

It just needs to be connected to the intake manifold. I used the boost gauge line as it was easier for me

It's just a k04 dv flange weded to intercooler piping. It's all custom
