  • Praha hlavní nádraží, commonly known as Prague Main Railway Station, is the largest and busiest railway station in Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic. Situated in the heart of the city, it serves as a major transportation hub connecting Prague with domestic and international destinations.
The station's architecture is impressive, characterized by its grand facade and spacious interior. Originally opened in 1871, the station has undergone several renovations and expansions over the years to accommodate the growing number of passengers and modernize its facilities.
Inside the station, travelers will find a range of amenities, including ticket counters, waiting areas, shops, cafes, and restaurants. The platforms are well-organized, with clear signage and information displays to assist passengers in finding their trains.
Praha hlavní nádraží offers a wide variety of train services, including regional, national, and international routes. It serves as a crucial transportation link for both commuters and tourists, providing convenient access to Prague's many attractions and neighboring cities.

Thanks for the inside view. Have watched the trains coming and going from the outdoor view camera high above for many years. Always wondered what the inside of the station looked like. Much nicer then I expected.

Yes, there are luggage storages there. Smaller luggage can be also put in lockers that are also there.

Hello, I understand your concern, I think Prague is very safe, Prague is not as crowded as other cities in the world, I have lived here for 20 years, have not encountered, and have not experienced the situation you mentioned. Of course, nowhere is absolutely safe, but if you are careful, you will have a wonderful vacation and experience. Prague welcomes you to visit.

People are robbed because they act stupid, they have their wallet in back pocket in their jeans or they let their things next to the table in open air restaurants. When you are not stupid, nothing will happen to you. I am born in Prague and I was never pickpocketed, never in my life. And Prague is defeinitely safer in these days than western european cities. Pickpocketing or scammers are the worst things you can meet in Prague, while in the west, they have war of the gangs at the streets.
