It's my birthday, so I thought I'd give you something fun! We have an ACTION PACKED Grindhouse presentation today - HARD BOILED & MAGIC CRYSTAL!!
Hard Boiled is my favorite film directed by John Woo, and in my top 5 favorite films ever made! Back in the late 90's/early 2000's there was this big trend in action movies where the characters would shoot two guns while jumping in slow motion (think Matrix). This movie is to thank for that trend! Easily the greatest "gun play" movie of all time!
Magic Crystal is a much lesser known film, but WOW the martial arts choreography is off the charts!! Cynthia Rothrock, Richard Norton and Ricky Chan all come together to make kung fu "magic" in this movie!! You're going to love this, especially the fight scene at the end of the film!! Amazing!!!!
