Hi Matt, hope things are going well for you! Sure enjoyed this, I especially like the chord climb starting at 2:36 - really powerful! You did a great job on this, thank you!!
Hi Matt, Beautiful tune but I don't think I have ever heard it, and I thought I had heard all of Chet's tunes. Beautiful job playing it, thanks for sharing it with us. Hugh
beautifully executed, especially at the rhythmic & lead transition at 2:35. so soothing & pleasant to the ears.... 😃 btw, are u using 13 - 56 string set for this performance?
Matt Cowe You're welcome man! I've been learning this song and this has helped me in some spots. Do you still have the tab to Chet's "Wildwood Flower"? That's another one on my list of stuff to learn.
Hi Bruce - thanks! Yes it's pretty hard to play :-) I'm using Apple's Logic Audio as a virtual amp here with it's tape delay stomp box and spring reverb, that's it.
I'm blown away! it's probably my favourite Chet Atkins song, it's just beautiful.
That last cord progression is so satisfying! Amazing picking skills you’ve got there, thank you for sharing!
Truly enjoyable, full, rich tone and lively.
One of my favorite Chet songs and you nailed it. Well done my friend.
Very impressive. That is one of my favorite guitar pieces and I enjoyed listening.
So beautiful
Would you have a tab or a lesson for this song? Best version that I've ever heard by far!
The Chet Atkins version of this song is available on songsterr.. it doesn’t have the percussive taps, but that wouldn’t be too hard to pick up
WOW Matt never heard you play that before, brilliant.
Wow!! Great job! That's some playing!
We never get burned out on this. Awesome.
Outstanding rendition MATT, your style is so pleasing to the ear & soul!

Hello I use 13 56 in my pre Fender Gretsch and you cannot tune STD; you would kill the neck. I tune 1 1/2 tone lower.

Nice i enjoyed that.
Awesome! Any advice on 54 second to 1:11? I'm learning this now n found that part to be very difficult.
There are some tricky stretches in there, just practice it slow, over and over!

It is well done. But the sound of Chet Atkins was better. I do not know why it is not so possible to have the same quality of sound in 2018.
Great job, Matt!
