Since the original shuttle released I was thinking of buying it. After seeing all it's flaws I searched for modifications like crazy. Just when I thought I had seen all of them and didn't find one to my liking, the infamous RUclips algorithm kicks in and I see your video. I have never been more excited for a video tutorial than over the last week! Thank you for your ingenious alterations, I have just ordered all the parts and am just as hyped for the build than I was for this video!
I had excactly the same experience! I'm going to do these mods while I'm building it for the first time, so I don't have to go through so much disassembly.
@@adamduke6779 I was too lazy to identify which parts need to be replaced and do so while building (to my defense: I didn't have the set/instruction when ordering all the pieces, they actualled both arrived the same day). It was less effort than you may think. The only "hard" part was getting the wings off as they are stuck on there like glued. Took me around 15 minutes or so, so not too bad Id say.

I just received and assembled my model, and while doing this I found the gap between the cockpit and the rest of the spaceship too large. Thanks for this helpful video. I will at least fix this on my model as well.
Thanks a lot mate. Since I missed out on the 2015 model - which was near impeccable - I was very disappointed with this sorry excuse the moment I saw it. It basically rehashed the 2018 Imperial Landing Craft keeping all of it's flaws. But now you've given me a reason to buy this set, which may be a bad thing, since I don't want to support LEGOs decision to make these downscaled abominations.
Great mods dude, now it became a much more decent set! I just bought it and definitely will follow your footsteps however the extra set of parts on your working place is out of focus (especially the black ones).. can you maybe write them down?
@@Comnetic Stud shooters or spring loaded shooters have never really appealed to me, I prefer a cleaner look. I am sure you could fit them in somewhere though, but I am not going to do another video for the Imperial Shuttle. Thanks! :D
