Nicely done! I can see myself making a big dent in my fat quarter collection with this one.
And THANK YOU for not making me watch/fast fwd through cutting and sewing!
You are a wonderful teacher.
I just LOVE twin blocks. Measure twice or thrice, cut once, and sew twice. Two blocks down and ? many more to go. Love It. Thank you for sharing this technique.
I love this block! I didn't like the traditional name so I'm calling mine "Angel Wings" since it is for my darling daughter who is marries with children.😍
Wow that's really pretty. You have made 2 blocks.....a positive and a negative block.
You could make 2 different quilts with that.
I love this....thank you for sharing this amazing block with us. God bless 😁😁

The block simplicity is very nice. I’m going to make it in black and white. And blue and gray, and cream and sage green. I sure hope those color are good with each other, what do you think?

Thank you, what a fun block and looks like it will go together quickly.
Hi Laura - LOVE THE OLD MAID'S PUZZLE BLOCK - never heard of this one before, I really like how it looks quite complicated but the simplicity of putting it together is amazing. I really enjoy these types of tutorials you do - you show us how to produce some amazing blocks, and how to get the best from our fabric I have learnt when looking at quilts and trying to work out how they are done, to look at the quilt in sections. Thank you again Laura, looking forward to your next tutorial - I shall certainly be trying this block this weekend - I have LOADS of fat quarters LOL every time I see one I like I purchase 2. Have a good weekend. Linda (~Eng)

Fabulous block! Thanks for letting us know it's name too. Have been looking for a pattern to use for some cute Mammoth flannel fat quarters - think it will work? I'll have to check it out. Thanks and Cheers from Northern Ontario 🇨🇦🍁
Could not get the pdf cutting guide. Beautiful blocks and I do have alot of fat quarters, can't pass up those beautiful quarters😊
Love it! You always make your sewing look easy. You said to trim the 7 inch HST to 6.5. What sizes are we trimming the smaller HST? Can’t wait to try this block! Thanks!
Trim the smaller HST to 3.5”.
Yes, 3.5" to match the solid squares of the corner four patches.
