I thought that Bahubali South Indian restaurant serves the biggest thali in Dubai. In fact they do. Don’t remember the number of dishes. You can check it out.
به به نوش جانتون غذاهای هندی هم خوشمزه است هم به دلیل ادویه جات خود نوعی نسخه است اما خب به تندی و زنجبیل برای سیستم بدن مدافع است ..اول صبح هوس این کولوچه هارا کردم به به تاوه نان پزی برای نان تیری ما داشتیم من خودم هم پختم البته ناها مختلف با روانشاد مادرم که از ایشان یاد گرفتم تخته گرد و تاوه گرد و هر دو همینطور بزرگ و ضد زنگ
1. Gujarat is western most state/province of India. Rajasthan is North West. The thali in the first restaurant was a mix of Rajasthani & Gujarati dishes.. so not exactly North Indian. 2. The second restaurant was specialised in Mumbai (capital of Maharashtra in the West) street food. You must try the authentic ones in Mumbai. Had you smashed the vada in the pav and put the chilli inside alongwith thecha (chilli paste with a very distinct taste), it would have tasted heavenly! Pls try it the next time, and ask for thecha. Kokum is an indigenous fruit found in the Konkan belt (coastal belt of West India stretching from Maharashtra's coast to Goa and beyond), and you will therefore find kokum in most Konkani dishes. Try another drink (Solkadi-made with kokum and buttermilk) next time. It is heavenly. 3. The last thaali, to be honest, seemed disappointing. Sure, it had a lot of stuffs but it was more like they were trying to fill up the space rather than filling it up with different kinds of non-veg dishes. For a non-veg thaali of that size in India, it would be filled with unending mutton, chicken, fish and prawn (to name the major ones) items! Please keep a meet up whenever you come to Delhi. Would be super happy to meet you both. Much love from India! 😊
