It's true that Leo is a good guitar player, but it's a bit pretentious to say that, don't you think? Maybe after a few years and many own albums recorded, we could think that. At this moment, Dave Davidson from Revocation band, could be Chucks reincarnation. Listen their recordings. Cheers!
The bongos are great in the song, and the player did a great job. The only thing would be to try and really nail that bongo's drum beats right where they're at in the original song. A more conventional metal beat, which I know isn't common to find on bongos in the first place. The player here did really great overall , and it was an impressive performance. There were only a few minor moments that didn't sound exactly right, like a more typical bongo style where the beat sounded slightly delayed when it should be super tight.

I never feel like Richard Christy’s drumming gets enough credit for how tough it is, and seeing it performed on bongos so well really just blew my mind, excellent bass work, and as always excellent axe handling Lux👏👏👏 you’re really tapping into something here, possibly the way to make Death, and Death Metal in general, more accessible to those that can’t hear the music through the brutality. Keep on shredding guys🤘🤘🤘

I hope to get good enough to play Death riffs one day. I just learned how to fully play Lost Wisdom by Burzum completely through, but that's a hell of a lot less intricate. But anyways great video, really loving that clean guitar tone.
Amazing idea! Guitars and bass sound perfect together. Only gripe I have is with the drummer, to my ears he seems to be off a lot of the time. I'm not a pro by any means, so I'd like to hear other peoples opinion on this. Please more of this!
Maybe it sounds like that because he is hitting less notes that the actual drums but... i dont think you can play much faster on those. (Sorry for bad English)

Listening to Leonardo's interpretations (including this briliant trio here) one understands how the typical themes, riffs and solos found in Chuck's records could by all means be played on an Oud... and the music would perfectly fit that instrument, with all the middle-eastern and levantine harmonies Chuck's style is (not so secretly) imbued of. Outstanding work, anyway!

Death riffs are actually pretty easy to play. You should be able to play most of them with little experience.
