    I have the same sight tool and will say without a doubt that it is one of the most rock solid sight tools available. It will accommodate about any semi auto pistol made. The sights on these P320's can be extremely stubborn trying to move without a tool like this.

      The sight should always go left to right no matter if you're installing or removing! It is not recommended to push sights in or out in opposite directions as this wears the sight channel much faster.

    • @yrsued
      @yrsued 6 лет назад

      They make different models at different price ranges, this one is somewhat in the middle, but they do make one that is a little over $100 and it pays off when you don't break a sight and Try-Glo won't warrantee it if you pound it in!!

    • @HFTONE
      @HFTONE 4 года назад

      At roughly $40 a pop to have a gunsmith replace your sights it won't be long before the tool pays for itself. And you can use it at the range to make fine adjustments.. See how much a gunsmith will charge you to follow you to the range!

    • @centurionjeff

      This sight tool may be over engineered, but it's amazing at how rock solid it holds the slide, and it will accommodate just about any semi auto pistol made.. Great for fine precision adjustments. This is definitely a top of the line tool.

    For these and the TFO on a P320 compact, what # combo for front and rear is dead on? I've heard conflicting reports.

    • @yrsued
      @yrsued 5 лет назад

      I got the 8 & 8, and it worked fine, but I've also heard different things, but it all depends on the shooter!!

    • @HFTONE
      @HFTONE 4 года назад

      Sig uses different # sights for different calibers with the P320. Either a #6 & #8, or #8 on both ends depending on the caliber. You can get the correct combo info from the sig website if you're not sure what you need.. And it also may depend on your shooting style, how you use the front sight and what type of sights you're using! You may need to experiment with different size front sights to find what works best for you if the stock combo doesn't.

    • @yrsued
      @yrsued 6 лет назад

      I borrowed this one for the Video, there is a less costly version that sells for $130.00 if you are only going to install one set of sights, this particular one is not for you, but I have installed over ten sights so far, in all SIG's I own, Glocks and I will do 1911's soon.

    • @HFTONE
      @HFTONE 4 года назад

      The MGW Sight Pro SP1000 which is the tool used in this video costs around $300 with one shoe for a particular gun model. But at about $40 or more a shot for a gunsmith to install sights, this tool will pay for itself fairly quickly if you have multiple guns that you want to replace or adjust sights on.. And you're pretty much guaranteed that it will not damage your gun or the sight. Take it to the range to make fine adjustments. I love this tool and although it is expensive, I think it's worth every penny, especially if you have gun with stubborn sights!

  • @JC-gy5bh
    @JC-gy5bh 4 года назад

    That works, but keep in mind when you use a punch especially on a front dovetail sight you can hit it lower to the frame, meaning there is less change of bending it if it were to be too tight as opposed to using a sight pusher that you can't get too close to the frame in order to not damage it. And if done properly there would be no marring or damage to the sight.

    • @yrsued
      @yrsued 4 года назад

      But if you do that and break it, TruGlo and other companies WILL NOT refund your purchase!! That is a fact!!

    • @HFTONE
      @HFTONE 4 года назад

      Apparently you've never tried to "pound out" a factory installed front sight on a P320. Chances are very good that you'll damage either the sight or the slide attempting to remove it this way..

    • @yrsued
      @yrsued 4 года назад +1

      @@HFTONE I would NEVER do that, for example, TruGlo recommends using a Sight Pusher and if you pound it out and break it, you're on your own!!
