Julias overthinking and constant doubt, plus chat misleading with poor memories really does make some of these tougher than they need to be. Absolutely love watching people experience this game for the first time though, even if sometimes you're yelling at the screen "they literally say his name in the death scene"
It was so frustrating when Julia was trying to find the Carpenter's Mate in a way that was actually going to get confirmed and kept being interrupted by tips that either were completely wrong or didn't help.
Yeah, that was driving me insane. I know chat is trying to help, but the constant tips were in many cases actively derailing their solving when Julia was on the right track by herself.
Somehow the chat has worse memory than Julia and Jacob, which is saying a lot considering they forgot about 1/2 of everything throughout this playthrough.
Watching one person try to figure it out alone using the clues available to them: Tedious but understandable. Watching one person try to figure it out while being continually misled by chat and another person: Unbearable.
Bosun's job is shouting at people. That's why he's everywhere, and that's why bosun's mate is present whenever people are pulling ropes - he seems to be doing a lot of his job.
So, number 60 dies first and number 1 dies last. Also you use a watch for investigation and your progress bar is a circle with 60 deaths to figure out.
