I like that bag, doesn’t look too tactical. Better to blend in

Very nice kit my dude!!! You and me have very similar taste in gear; I can tell you researched everything and planned it out well. The only thing I would change is swap the walkie for a Baeofeng UV-5R and get one for the missus as well. You get much better range and way more options for different frequencies in VHF and UHF. As a bonus, you can also save one of your pre-programmed channels to your local NOAA weather alert channel.

If you have to use that bag- things are really, really bad.
You are not getting home 30 miles in 24 hours.
You should be able to get home with just your EDC kit if you are only 24 hours walk from home.
You carry enough weaponry to fight a guerilla war.
A nuke war is probably the only reason , realistically to use that bag- and you will be dead before you get home due to exposure.
Time, distance, shelter is they only way to survive.
You should rethink the bag- add a blanket, warm clothes, first-aid kit for burns ,foot and eye care.
And add a tarp at least for shelter.
A folding shovel is an absolute must as well.
A little more thought is required yet .
    Keep on prepping.
    Cheers

Nice. I'd keep a Swiss Army knife in my bag too. I carry the Spartan Model. I'm working on my bag. I keep Dude Wipes in my bag too.

Nice yeah I have completely redone my ghb probably 20 times in the last 10 years but want it light as possible but still able to make it a few days if absolutely needed plus if you check out my truck video as well there are a few items I would grab from there and put on or in my bag if I have to leave my truck somewhere and walk

Not for a get home bag when I only need it to last for under 24 hours to get home where I have a bugout bag

@@milehighprepper Switchblade with the added hip belt is a much better option. I don’t need a sub 24hr bag. I mean i’m glad you have a plan to get to another bag, but there would be no way to be certain, that going home will be valid option. Contingencies should be considered.
