The thing about the high prices that you locals forget when you say it’s worth it ….is that you didn’t already spend $7,000 on your vacation before you eat at a place like that….suddenly $45 for a drink and fries is insane

Everybody needs to make a choice of what to willing to spend on their vacations. There is more to do everywhere in the United States. There is more to do in Orlando than Disney in universal. I looked into a vacation at Disney for February. We (two adults ) started with five days staying at Disney resort and going to parks figuring out the cost were they were too much. We went to a three day trip. It was still too much. we decide to look to see what pricing of a seven day cruise was and we went that route because it was still cheaper than Disney. I really wish some of these influencers would go beyond the Disney and Universal SeaWorld. I remember one of our family vacations. We took a few days in Disney, but then we went to the pier in St. Petersburg they have a museum with Salvatore Dali paintings in. The whole museum is in the dark and they only turn on the lights when they’re actually going to show you the painting. There’s so much more to see in Florida. Research your state and the surrounding area. Find out what people recommend to go do and see in the area.

The portions look big especially the sandwiches. This is a place my husband and I will try because we like to share when we eat out. The cake looks big enough for 3 people. Can’t wait to try them.
The cake is super big- I was able to eat half easily lol- I don't know if that's a good thing though. Portions were big luckily like most of disney food is. Drinks were reallllly good

Oh I hope they do mobile order one day! Those lines were too long but I hear now they are taking reservations and it's empty enough. I will definitely try the mint! In our new xmas vlog I just posted I mention the peppermint cookie was my favorite and mickeys christmas party! I'm a mint gal for sure!

My mom used to make Betty Crocker yellow cake with chocolate glaze icing from Hershey's Cocoa that hardened after she poured it. It was the perfect cake, I can't conceive of anything better.
I love that kind of cake! That’s how my mom made it too! I’m the biggest cake fan. If you were to look in our fridge it looks like somebody with a serious cake addiction lol
I love that you added the extra excitement with a taste test! Super fun idea and different from what everyone else is doing. I'd love to see more with a blind taste test and some of the other flavors from the new restaurant. Thanks for sharing such a fun energy with us!

It is so beautiful inside and I love the fact that it is permanently Christmas in there. Who doesn’t want to celebrate Christmas year-round. So say you’re missing Christmas just come to Disney even in February February or June and Christmas trees will be up here.
Everything looks really good and you all looked like you had a great time with this experience . I like both , savory and desert . I don't think it would be a place I would visit all the time , but for a special occasion , it would be great .

Very thorough review! Especially with those prices! I'm a disney local and would only consider going to a place like that for a special occasion or if we have family in town visiting.. I love this and the banter between y'all is so fun. I love dessert. My grandmother used to say eat dessert first, just in case there is no later. I am going soon and want to try that cake with the champagne and berries.

I'll take the $3 cake please, so I can put more of my budget toward delicious savory food that I can't get in northern Michigan! (Which would be almost anything because the few restaurants that are here all serve the same thing - burgers, a few steaks, pizza.) Thanks for bringing us along! 💜
My mom and Dad lived in Michigan for a while and my Godmother still lives there so I know ALL too well about the food she tells me all the time when she comes to visit. I feel the same way, save it for something unique you can't get in your hometown. We filmed the vlog I just posted today over two days and it's one of my favorites. So luckily vlogs I can do now on my own time (when Winston the doggie isn't being crazy pants lol)
Publix cakes are superior lol. I have a really good decorator at my Publix and she does the best. All my kids bday cakes are done there and everyone is always surprised it’s from Publix

Hey Sandy! I couldn't pronounce the ham and cheese fancy sandwich thingy for the life of me lol but it was good just too expensive! The cakes were very moist and very buttery, you can't go wrong with any of them just get ready for the price tag lol. But we have holiday treat reviews coming because magic kingdom christmas already started! That's more in our price tag. To me this seems like one of the many WDW restaurants where you’re paying more because of the ambiance or the experience. I’m more of a savory gal, but I did think the raspberry champagne cake looked good!
Exactly! That's what I said at the end, you really are paying for christmas year round vibes in there and the service. For savory deliciousness I think Narcoosee's for the same price as cake bake is WAY better. Yes... they are the same price lol...CRAZY. In our latest vlog we cover christmas that arrived; but cake bake will be nice for xmas fans who want christmas ambiance year round. That was a neat decor idea I wouldn't have guessed for that restaurant.

@@LBVTV oh yes! When we were displaced due to the hurricane we actually stayed in celebration for ten days because we had no running water or power for all of those days in Tampa. I said oh man I have to go make this worth while for my mother and I so I actually the day of the hurricane went and bought cookies and that wonderful cake slice from gideons which truly is amazing and thigh high chicken biscuits from homecoming! So our hurricane stay wasn’t too bad. And omg the Publix cake! Lmbo I love how real you are. And your husband with a typical reaction from a man “ehh it tastes the same!” 😂😂 a $3 cake slice vs $26.00 cake slice, eh same thing 😂😂 hilarious! And also the t-shirt you have on is so darn cute! Hey Jeff! My husband would agree with you, and honestly I do too because ESPN is a part of the Disney family so it makes sense to have a place for fans to go watch the Super Bowl (which me and Chris have done many times there before it closed). Now we have to go to universal at city walk
That's right and one of my favorite ingredients for sugar cookies, but this tasted SOOO strong as an almond flavor it was more reminiscent of a marzipan. Not a lingering almond after taste, like FULL almond lol. But my husband LOVES intense almond flavors and marzipan so some may love it

You comparing a truly rubbish quality cake to an award winning made from scratch quality actual I ingredients cake comparing them just shows u have no opinion on food u can’t be trusted if u can’t tell a difference from crap to quality. Poor choice. Award winning cake to fake. Just say it’s expensive. But saying it’s same is a joke.
Apparently there's an odd split of reviewers going by their own taste rather than the rest of others are reviewing it by the quality of it and made. Absolutely wholsomely agree with you 100%. The only thing they should say is it's expensive. You will never find A2 European Buttercream that's healthier on any Publix cakes.
I will never understand the love for Publix and their food. I think they are so overrated when it comes to their sandwiches and their bakery they have cheap ingredients and cheap products. But I understand everybody has their own things that they like. I wish you would've put those cakes on plates and not told him which is which to see what he would've preferred. But anyway, it's always a great video and you always look beautiful
Oh yeah, my love for their cake is a weird obsession me and my friends have lol! And DEFINITELY like I mentioned the ingredients are wayyyyy bad in the publix cake lol. Where as at Cakebake they are a few simple ingredients. So it's really about what your palette likes. I sadly like the very bad for you publix cake lol! One is more sugar, where as the other is more butter (but not margarine at cake bake) and we will have to do something on IG or short form of chris or anyone blind taste testing! I love that idea. Savory for sure! I'm in Indiana, where Cake Bake originated. I will say that normally the crab cakes entrée are much larger than that.

awww thanks Jordan for the love! Lots of new vlogs coming! With our new rescue puppy and my mom breaking her hip and leg it's been an interesting few months to say the least. We filmed the vlog I just posted today over two days and it's one of my favorites. So luckily vlogs I can do now on my own time (when Winston the doggie isn't being crazy pants lol)

Publix cakes are superior lol. I have a really good decorator at my Publix and she does the best. All my kids bday cakes are done there and everyone is always surprised it’s from Publix

Hey Sandy! I couldn't pronounce the ham and cheese fancy sandwich thingy for the life of me lol but it was good just too expensive! The cakes were very moist and very buttery, you can't go wrong with any of them just get ready for the price tag lol. But we have holiday treat reviews coming because magic kingdom christmas already started! That's more in our price tag. To me this seems like one of the many WDW restaurants where you’re paying more because of the ambiance or the experience. I’m more of a savory gal, but I did think the raspberry champagne cake looked good!
Exactly! That's what I said at the end, you really are paying for christmas year round vibes in there and the service. For savory deliciousness I think Narcoosee's for the same price as cake bake is WAY better. Yes... they are the same price lol...CRAZY. In our latest vlog we cover christmas that arrived; but cake bake will be nice for xmas fans who want christmas ambiance year round. That was a neat decor idea I wouldn't have guessed for that restaurant.

Aw, we love you and she told me she’s coming to visit. I hope it works out that we’re actually able to see her but things are pretty crazy with Winston. He just actually got a label stuck to his paw and we can’t get it off lol. He keeps us on our toes and him on his paws.
Lol.... We know exactly what you mean and are going through. When Roxy was still around she kept us on our toes and on alert. When you can't see them or hear them you know they are getting into trouble. I hope it works out too, it would make her trip.

@@LBVTV oh yes! When we were displaced due to the hurricane we actually stayed in celebration for ten days because we had no running water or power for all of those days in Tampa. I said oh man I have to go make this worth while for my mother and I so I actually the day of the hurricane went and bought cookies and that wonderful cake slice from gideons which truly is amazing and thigh high chicken biscuits from homecoming! So our hurricane stay wasn’t too bad. And omg the Publix cake! Lmbo I love how real you are. And your husband with a typical reaction from a man “ehh it tastes the same!” 😂😂 a $3 cake slice vs $26.00 cake slice, eh same thing 😂😂 hilarious! And also the t-shirt you have on is so darn cute! Sweet person, I love the millionaire's cake! I'm not a huge fan of the entrees (I am too picky for upscale dining), but I love the theme of the restaurant.🎉

Hey Jeff! My husband would agree with you, and honestly I do too because ESPN is a part of the Disney family so it makes sense to have a place for fans to go watch the Super Bowl (which me and Chris have done many times there before it closed). Now we have to go to universal at city walk

That's right and one of my favorite ingredients for sugar cookies, but this tasted SOOO strong as an almond flavor it was more reminiscent of a marzipan. Not a lingering almond after taste, like FULL almond lol. But my husband LOVES intense almond flavors and marzipan so some may love it

Apparently there's an odd split of reviewers going by their own taste rather than the rest of others are reviewing it by the quality of it and made. Absolutely wholsomely agree with you 100%. The only thing they should say is it's expensive. You will never find A2 European Buttercream that's healthier on any Publix cakes.

I will never understand the love for Publix and their food. I think they are so overrated when it comes to their sandwiches and their bakery they have cheap ingredients and cheap products. But I understand everybody has their own things that they like. I wish you would've put those cakes on plates and not told him which is which to see what he would've preferred. But anyway, it's always a great video and you always look beautiful
Oh yeah, my love for their cake is a weird obsession me and my friends have lol! And DEFINITELY like I mentioned the ingredients are wayyyyy bad in the publix cake lol. Where as at Cakebake they are a few simple ingredients. So it's really about what your palette likes. I sadly like the very bad for you publix cake lol! One is more sugar, where as the other is more butter (but not margarine at cake bake) and we will have to do something on IG or short form of chris or anyone blind taste testing! I love that idea.
