I guess I should have watched the whole video before I made my first comment. I've often joked to my older brother on the little Manatee River in Florida that one day I would put in at my house on White River in Spencer and canoe to his house on the little Manatee River in Ruskin Florida. It's always been a dream of mine for the past 35 years.
@@riversrme yes I'm aware of the Gulf of Mexico I was a commercial fisherman in the Gulf of Mexico in the early 80s to the early 90s and then I moved North to Indiana it would definitely be a challenge but I don't think it's impossible. I believe the challenge would start long before the golf going from the West Fork White River to the Wabash to the Ohio to the Mississippi locating low-head dams on the East Fork and the wall Bash are the things that worry me the most.
I met one man from Petersburg, a net maker and owner of 6 boats who said is accessable by boat a few times a year. Where the East and West White River Forks meet there is a 40 foot whirlpool making the area unapproachable. Have you seen that whirlpool?
What's the best way to locate these low-head dams on the West Fork. Planning a long trip I have spent 35 years on the West Fork from Spencer to Worthington do not know anything past that planning on going to the Ohio from Spencer and Beyond. Any help you can give me on what type of map that I should procure thank you.

The closest that you could get is Appalatchi Forida, then cross the Gulf of Mexico to Tampa Bay. Would be very difficult in a canoe.
