I paid my student loans off during the freeze. $13k done. Didn’t see why I shouldn’t since I could.

Have you looked into the new SAVE plan for student loans? I would like to see how that option would work for different situations, but I have not seen any budget channels break that down yet

I looked into it when it came out, but I haven’t done anything since then. We are still on the income driven plan. I may revisit it this year.

I feel your pain re: student loans. We are forced to take ours out of forbearance since we are finally closing on our first house. I feel like the first year of homeownership is gonna be a little rough but I’m working on increasing my income.

I just responded to you on my newest video, but I love watching things come full circle. You’ve got this!

I'm going to start paying my first student loan payment in September, since the interest is accruing as of today. My grocery budget is also $100/week and it's tough! I'm making smaller portions and freezing a lot of things these days to try to make it stretch.

It does get tough sometimes. We cut corners when we can, and we eat leftovers. I know some people don’t like them, but we don’t mind.

Maybe cutting back on Restaurants to $75 (1/2 of $150) and Spending to $35 (1/2 of $75) for each of u would help. Anything for Savings and Investing ? (Always Pay yourself first so u can get ahead)

Thanks for the suggestion! We have savings built into our budget, and I’m just getting into investing outside of or jobs. I don’t feel comfortable adding that to videos though since I have no idea what I’m doing. 😎
