I have stocked up on primers as well, got about 10,000+ and have bought up as much loaded ammunition as possible. People say that I'm hoarding because I have plenty and they have little to no inventory, and also they may have lost their job due to the plan-demic so they can't buy up any ammunition they do find. And they look at me as if I should share or sell them ammo for what I paid for it back when it was plentiful and cheap.
Haters gonna hate but at least I have ammo.

The left never rests so that is the only voice the majority of companies and politicians hear. That needs to change. I take 20 minutes just about every day to call or send personal email or letters. Several have taken note of the increase in conservative voices being used. It's time we all did it.

Interesting legal gun control perspective here in South Africa regarding stocking up. A person licensed for "self defence" or "occasional hunting/sport shooting" may only have 200 rounds in total in his/her possession. Only one gun allowed under self defense, four guns maximum for self defence and the "occasional" stuff. One is then allowed to stock a maximum of 2400 primers in your residence.
A person classified as a "dedicated hunter or dedicated sport shooter" has no limits in terms of guns allowed nor rounds and/or primers, but no gunowner may hold more than 2,4 kilogram of propellant (that is abt four one pound canisters, fifth canister takes you over the limit) which makes it very difficult to stock up. One runs out of powder relatively quickly. Workaround here is to make sure a spouse has a licensed firearm too, then one can double up on the powder. Also to ask friends with guns but who do not reload to buy and keep powder in their gun safe.
Lots of shooters here in Pretoria stormed the gunshops to stock up on ammo, powder and primers when the lockdowns were announced last year. No good for us to storm the shops to buy guns, you may wait anywhere from 6 months to 2 years to get your license, as each gun is licensed individually. Semi auto rifles are most often the two year ones, many guys have to go to the court system to oblige the cops here to process the application.

This kinda reminds me of that video you did about preppers. I love that video. I realize it was serious but it was 1/2 comedy gold as well. Especially when you said for those bugout people not to come into your area and if they made it there you could mop them up. Sometimes you have some things that really ceack me up.

These days I don't shoot much centerfire other than brushing up a little before deer season. At this rate I won't be out of primers for some years but I have found it very entertaining to reload during this shortage. Not that I need to but I've been experimenting with primer compounds like many other people recently. I have some prime all like you tried but I don't like the idea that when you mix it up, the whole batch is shock sensitive. There are some which only activate after you add water and let dry. I would like to kill my deer next year with a 45-70 pounded together with my lee loader, primed with homemade compound, and charged with some home brew black. That sounds like an accomplishment.

    • @makevelicustoms

I've got primers dated on the box..2000...went thru hoarder madness in times past...and like you, stocked up during times of sanity. As for primer brand....you'll find some fit tighter/looser than others. So, CCI fit loosest..they go in fresh cases. As the pockets loosen up federal and winchester fit tighter.
I don't know anybody who'd be crying at you or pointing fingers for buying goods of any kind. And as for being 'ruthless' on ebay....there's no such thing. It goes to whomever bids the highest. I recently watched three partially full boxes of Hornady 30 caliber bullets sell for $155 plus shipping. Any idiot that'd pay that...deserves having his money taken. This lunacy will pass....sooner if the lunatics in control are removed from office.
