All has to be done for sks is a simple mod on the mag. It will accept when pulling bolt back.

I had a 40 round mag for my SKS. Have to take things apart to change mags. It worked well

At 300 yards with a sks the arch of the bullet would have to be 3 feet. Because of the drop.

It looked like a sporterized sks to me? Cheap 30 rd magazines are everywhere at gun shows. I have a few and they don't work for poop. Won't feed reliably enough for me.

He goes over the exact SKS variant ,modification including aftermarket 30 round mag,drop in stock ,scope mount etc. from his extensive knowledge on SKS rifles I think it can be confirmed it was an SKS. It was a SKS with a polymer stock that accepts 30-round magazines. You can tell by the gas system on the barrel in the photo. Very common rifle. No conspiracy theories.

I like 32's. I slugged my 39 Mosin, was 0.311 so I run 312's. 150 grain bullets and various load testing on 3031,4064,and 4895. 10 Bucks over the to the Mosin and my handloads. It's scoped, turned down bolt and pillar bedded, Timney trigger so I'm cheating😄
