Mario Wonder is awesome so far and definitely gives me Mario World vibes. The level design is super creative, and I am so happy the different worlds have unique aesthetics that aren't just generic desert and snow worlds. The wonder slower effects are mostly super creative, although some concepts are reused from time to time. Yeah I wish there were more bosses than just Bowser Jr. They switch up the fights as best they can, but more unique boss fights would have been nice. I also wish they had more power ups. All of the new ones are great, but including some more of the old ones would add a bit more variety.
Even before you showed the ocean level the sky level was giving me Nuttery Noon feelings! You couldn't just swap them out, the backgrounds would feel somehow incongruous in Kirby and vice versa, but I think the artists are definitely paining with a similiar emotional palette. And they're both gorgeous.
