Thank you for creating this video!!!! As a 12 year old nigerian american, I was spoiled growing up with my Yoruba mom that prepares all these delicious meals without asking for help.in the kitchen, so I never learned. With Sisi jemimahi, I can redeem myself now that I am a married woman.
Aww!! That's so sweet. Glad to be of help and thanks for taking the time to leave a such a lovely comment, it's appreciated..x
Girl nobody cares about your sob story
@@raquelayininuola9148 lmao 😂
@Black Magic so that's your view and opinion and why must everyone have that view?
@Black Magic ya you came up with a lot of assumptions just by the word nigerian American. She is of Nigerian heritage which is in Africa or is Nigeria somewhere else? She is an American citizen why can she not be proud of both, I too came to America at that age, I am a Nigerian American that is super proud of my blackness and my roots but appreciates the fact that America made a way for some of us africans to make our dreams, how does that take away from her blackness? It doesn't. I fight for black right daily but guess what you've already assume something about someone based on the feelings you had about other things though your reasoning are valid, just be careful about jumping to conclusion or lumping everyone together into your box.
I am igbo guy who runs a food business in Ogun state, I am doing wonders with this video. Thank you ❤
I tried it yesterday.... And the outcome was amazing... I love you.... Everyone loved it... It even got finished at once😂😂.... God bless you ma
This is the correct way of cooking ofada sauce.Good job👏👏👏👏
Thank you Sisi Jemimah....out of the blues, my husband asked for Ofada sauce; It's not a traditional meal for either of us so I went online to search for a workable recipe. I didn't have all the ingredients you used but I followed your recipe with what I had and the result was fantastic. Thanks a lot ***smiling widely***

I just tried this out and it came out perfectly well. Thanks a bunch. I have been battling with making the sauce the right way for a while now. I am happy i did not give up cos ur video gave me a perfect output. I never knew i could bleech the oil without fear of smoke and also i never k ew i should seive the pepper combo.
I cant stop thanking u sis.
Thank u and thank u.
Lived in Surulere. Iya Egba in Aguda market made the best Ofada stew. She fed the entire community and was generous enough to tell others her recipe, which we in turn took all over the world. Ofada stew is undefeated. We used to call it "Obe Iya Egba"
Can you please tell me the recipe
Yes o, I know her o
Share the recipe please
Your videos, recipes and cooking methods are top notch... Just classic
I tried your recipe and it came out perfectly 😃
You make cooking look easy😁 Thank you 🙏
True
Thanks Sisi, I made it and it was looooovely! Thanks for your expert guidance 😋
Sisi Jemimah thank you so much for the video , this is exactly what I wanted , using the regular bell peppers in the market
I get discouraged every time because most of the ayamase videos use the unripe peppers 🫑 and they are quite pricey .
I made this and my whole family loved it , even sent to my Igbo friend who has been craving .
Thank you 🙏
While I have no doubt that the stew taste great with regular pepper... The green ones remain evergreen....that's where the originality is.... I grew up eating that. The red pepper one looks great too though.
@@oluwatomiwaogunmade1677 that's what my husband makes, the one with green bell pepper. I've mastered Agoyin sauce, so tonight I want to make Ofada.
I always admire your cooking pattern. Well done sis
Thank you!
Tried it today! Very successful!
Simple, clear and understandable...

Thanks I'll try this soon
Thank you so much, I predict the recipes will solve my issues with what to cook that lasts the entire day vs having to make lunch and dinner every day 😒 these recipes take a little bit makes a lot ❣️
You are the best madam
Sis, watching this vid is making me so hungry! Yummy 😋 , please what is the name of the blender you are using and where can I get it from? The one I have is blending the pepper too smooth and you know if the pepper is smooth the outcome will not be the same. By the way, I am a new subscriber and I love your channel.
A food processor can give you the coarse texture that you desire.
You can also set the regular blender on crush instead of blend. I use the Ninja Blender and set it to crush to get that consistency for the peppers.
Thank you so much for this! Just what I needed 🤗
I KNOW it shells amazing in there!!!!!
I taught it suppose to be green 💚 bell pepper for ofada sauce?i enjoyed your cooking though easy and interesting
That's Ayamase. Ofada is made with ted Peppers..thanks
That's weird. Ayamase sauce is Ofada sauce. Why is it now different
@@Foodiejum they are not the same... trust me I just found out myself
I tried this out this evening 😊😊guess what guys it came out perfect

Is the white onions compulsory please

This is really looking lovely. 😋😋
Thank you 😊
Yummy
Pls ma what is the difference between ofada stew and ayamasi stew ?
Secondly that locust beans can it be blended as wel ?🥲
Pls was tomatoes added to the blended pepper
I can't wait to cook this soup, looks great and delicious
Ma where can I get this your blender
Hello, why did u cook the pepper first?
To reduce the water content thereby making the cooking process faster
Thank you so much for this!
Please let us know the food processor and a link to it
Thanks for sharing. Please can you show me, how to clean the locust beans?
Just rinse in water and gently remove the dirt..
@@SisiJemimahsRecipes Thanks so much for the reply 🙏🏾
@@SisiJemimahsRecipes but locust beans was not used na
Thanks sis but won't the stew be pepperish??
Hello
I love this sauce
One need to fry the pepper 1st so that it will be dry
Just the video I needed, thanks xx
Yaas... I'll do this
Nice one
Nice to meet you sisi jemimah do yo go for cooking schools
What about the green peppers and ata rodos
Yummy yummy
👍👍
Can i add any other seasoning
Hello, Did you a little water to blend the pepper ?
No, I didn't. M
Pls what can I use to bleach palm oil
I love how you did the onions here because I can not stand to look at onions in my food. I'll always blend them separately to make sure I can not see them in the final product. I dice the hell out of my onions before adding to bleached palm oil.
Can we use it for Norma rice?
Pls answer this
Yes you can. I use it for boiled yam and bread too
Sorry for asking, why is tomato not added
Can Ialso use Tomatoes instead of red bell pepper
What is the difference between Ayamase stew and Ofada stew pls
Thank you Sisi. Wanna try this asap but can I use ogiri instead of iru?
Ogiri won't work. You can leave it out..
@@SisiJemimahsRecipes What about grinding the iru rather than frying it whole? I'm wary about chewing it like that
Ummmm 😋😋😋 this look delicious 😋
Please what’s the difference between ayamase sauce and Ofada sauce
Can someone help me. Whenever I fry my pepper mix it comes out dark brown. I follow the recipe to a T. Am I not using enough oil? Is it my pot?
Thanks so much
I’ve used the red bell pepper and it came out having a sweet taste, is there any pepper i can use to substitute?
Use green pepper
Hi! Use red jalapeno peppers. They don't have the sweet taste of red bell peppers.
Okay thanks, I find using a mixture of the red jalapeño and green pepper gave me the best taste!
Can palm oil be switched with any oil ?
No I think the palm oil is what gives it the taste
Pleas where is Sisi Jemimah....it's been so long you posted a content, I hope you are ok
My family calls me kitchen pro. All thanks to you, i learnt from your videos.
I really hope you are ok
So ayamase with red peppers lol?
No seasoning cube??
Wow do u really not add fresh tomato
U are good! Choi!
Thank you 😊
This loooks so good but I’m terrified to use palm oil since I’m afraid it’ll catch fire
When u bleaching the palm oil just cover it up thats all for like 10mins without opening it
Low heat
Tasty
